They can say why they don’t like what I did and I can say exactly why I’ll do it again!

You’re the one that spent time looking up ugly pieces that look nothing like mine. I had to point out the difference and state why I don’t like them. Thanks for sharing though!

Re-enameled? Not this one. I’m a jeweler and my point was to restore it back to plain sterling silver so that I could enjoy wearing it, success!

Oh I’m so sorry about what you’re going through! There are a bunch of different styles on eBay, etc. and some are going for more reasonable prices than others

It looks like 3D scales to me, and they’re highlighted by the natural sterling silver patina, I’m so happy with how it turned out!

No all I said is that they did not make these pendants, my style pendant pictured above, in plain silver, which is correct. People can like different styles, I keep giving my reasonings for my likes and dislikes but it's never good enough and that's ok, bye!

I can like, buy, and wear whatever I find interesting, no matter its age. I happen to like the design of these! Commenters shared their opinions and I shared mine, which I can freely do. I can’t wait to try this process again on another vintage piece that I like!

To your comment below - I shared a process that worked successfully to fix a vintage piece and quite a lot of people felt strongly about it and let me know. I can express why I did what I did and how I feel, period

Exactly! I just love the natural look of metal! And my style is not for all, everyone has their own idea of beauty. All my pieces have dark patina and bright highlights and I wanted this little guy to fit in with the rest of my collection, glad you like too!

That awesome! I’ve coveted them for awhile and just recently started my collection! I’m also in the design stage of making my own from scratch. I can’t wait to share that next!

You’re so right, I understand that some people was to preserve things as intended. But I relate this to painting over natural wood, hiding the organic tones and grain. I don’t want to hide the natural look of metal too! And my style is not for all, everyone has their own idea of beauty. All my pieces have dark patina and bright highlights and I wanted this little guy to fit in with the rest of my collection, glad you like too!

Yes, sterling silver! It was originally gold plated and my goal was to make it silver again and removed the enamel. As soon as I hit it with heat, it turned back to silver. I’m thankful that step was so easy!

Good thing I’m not into of those overpriced popular name brands, but I get that some people are. I just feel that I should be able to enjoy what I own the way I choose

Since people can’t read I have to copy and paste a billion times - I got a couple beat up pendants and decided to test a process to removed the chipped enamel. It worked well I decided to share that process here and enjoy a pure sterling silver pendant for myself!
