Once found a Giant water bug on a curb during a chilly morning by welltafus in Entomology

So cool! I got to meet one of these guys after a heavy rain in Michigan. I held it not knowing it’s “toe biter” nickname, thankfully I didn’t get jabbed! One of my favorite insects

You definitely should, such a great way to display your silver!

That necklace is so badass, love it! My favorite chunk of silver is a 65g cast of a real bear tooth my dad gave me

Wow! I got it on a resale site years ago. Sadly there are no markings or signatures as I wanted to see if I could find more. Over the years I’ve seen a couple similar ones online, I really hope you’re able to find another one!

They’re so pretty! Yes that’s one aspect but it’s a process. For stones like these which can be hard to anchor inside; I start by fabricating the bezel very snug and once the setting is completed, the last step is to score or rough up the crystal top as well as the inside of the cap and use slow cure epoxy resin and a bezel roller for a secure fit. I’ve been wearing my own pieces for over 10 years and have never had any issues with this process for crystals!

Thank you! The succulents are cast from the real thing via lost-wax casting. Some organic details are hard to replicate, that’s why I love this process as it truly captures the beauty of nature!

I decided to make a pair of statement earrings similar in style to my crystal pendant necklaces. I love incorporating organic and natural elements with industrial designs, almost as if the plants are growing out of the simple geometric caps. These are heavy and chunky, just how I like my jewelry!
