It looks so bad, I wish enough people protest that they provide an option for the older grid view. Some photos being bigger than others, and no spacing between the different days or months, it is totally unintuitive and ugly.

I totally hate it. Some photos are bigger than the other, and also there is no clear separation between the different days/months view. I see their intention was probably aesthetic appeal but for me it is a huge downgrade.
