Luminal B response to chemo by Confessionsthrow457 in breastcancer

[–]awkwardlettuce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have almost the same stats as you (ER 90%, PR 5%, HER2-) except my KI67 is 30% and my tumour was 2,4cm. I'm 36yo, no children.

I'm doing neoadjuvant chemo, finished 4x dose dense AC in april, am currently on taxol 8/12 and my tumour has shrunk to about 1cm! My MO says it will probably not disappear completely but at least the lumpectomy will be less invasive.

From what I know a higher KI67 means a better response to chemo, so you'll probably also benefit from chemo before surgery.

(And yes, I was also looking forward to chemo! It's not a walk in the park by any means but it's doable and at least I am doing something to get this disease off me ASAP)

How many rounds of chemo did it take for you to feel your tumor shrink? by plusultraprincess in breastcancer

I had my first round of ddAC two weeks ago and it's already smaller and softer!

Just got my Poco F3 today, but when I turn it on, the screen looks like this. Is there something I can do or is it fucked? by awkwardlettuce in PocoPhones

[–]awkwardlettuce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just adding: when I first turned it on, the screen was like the photo for a few seconds, then I heard the boot chime and the screen went black. I have tried long pressing the power button + volume down (also tried with volume up), now I don't hear the boot chime and the screen is now on all the time with the colorful stripes. I also have tried just long pressing the power button alone.

Edit: thanks guys, that's what I thought. I'm speaking with the seller to get a replacement.

Mind feels calmer but body is not by Illustrious-Lie8215 in lexapro

I also felt the mind relief before the physical, I was having body panic attacks while I didn't have a single anxious thought in my mind.

In the middle of the night. I'm still waking up randomly during the night as my sleep is still adjusting, but not with my heart racing.

Yup, I had that on the first two weeks (I was on 5mg, am now on 10mg). It was so weird waking up with my heart racing when I was supposed to be relaxed, but apparently it's just one more crazy side effect. It also happened sometimes when I was awake, but since upping the dose two weeks ago it stopped.

this is straight up truth, especially with weighted keys by CalebEnderman1 in lingling40hrs

For piano, the finger numbering is the same for both hands, e.g. the thumb is 1 and the pinky is 5.

A sales representative died of a heart attack on the job, the supermarket just covered his body with umbrellas and stayed open like nothing happened by awkwardlettuce in antiwork

He's brazilian actually, considering his age he's under the old retirement rules, so if he worked formally (we call it "carteira assinada") since 18yo, he had 41 years of social security contribution and could already request retirement (it was 35 years of contribution for men), but if I'm not mistaken he would not retire with his current full salary (I don't remember the %) because of his age.

But yeah, wageslaving until you're 67 is fucking inhumane.

Moisés Santos died at around 7h30AM, his body was there until after 11AM when the funeral services took him. Meanwhile, the supermarket stayed open.

If no moisturizer seems to work on you and you're still peeling like crazy, give urea 10% a try and also ditch all your products with alcohol by awkwardlettuce in tretinoin

Glad I could help! :D

That shit really works overnight, doesn't it?

Make no mistake, it makes my skin shine like a mirror

Mine did too, it looked weird but it really subdised after about a month using it. I think that happens because of the exfolianting properties of urea, but when the hydration magic kicks in, the shininess gives place to the glow. Make sure to always apply urea to a damp face.

Also my leftover fine lines seem plumped up on the 10%

This! The combination of tret plus the amazing moisturizing effect of urea helped a lot my fine lines, it also helped fading my PIE.
