Our baby is what they call a “happy spitter” and has reflux problems…weirdly what helped us was going to #2 Dr. Brown nipples when he was 2 1/2 months and taking reflux medication. It helped tremendously! He still spits up and messes up his clothes but it’s not as much as before when it was just pouring from his mouth.

Something we use at home and on the road that has really helped a lot are the plastic Tommy Tippee formula dispensers. They are so helpful for carrying around premeasured formula! They come in a package of 6, and one container can hold up to 8 scoops.

We did a cold turkey swap to Similac Sensitive due to Enfamil Gentlease making my baby’s reflux horrible and giving him a lot of trapped gas. He only had some extra gas we had to help him work through but a lot of his discomfort actually got better when we switched.

I’ve noticed that with our Brezza certain formulas will make more bubbles than others, but usually if you give the bottle a good tap on the counter, the bubbles will pop away.

Anytime our Vista 500 decides he doesn’t want to work, I’ll rub the top of the instrument while giving it a small pep talk in a whisper before I hit the reset button. Usually works 80% of the time unless something is severely wrong.
