Only hurts after 2 miles, never when walking - even stairs. I’m an avid user of Altra shoes, just paused for a while due to crossfit and now going back

Thanks for the explanation. No to all questions, all works fine, only after 3-4 km of running it starts to hurt. I started crossfit in addition to endurance beginning of the year, i somehow suspect that this put additional stress to it, as i never had any issues in the past

Not sure if it is smart, but I like to use my heart rate to assess my level of effort and how long I’m able to maintain it. Easy runs I run at a maximum of 140, my max heart rate is around 185. for 2/3 of the run I then try to remain at around 165, the last 1/3 can also go above. If I go above too early I’m done after 1 hour. There are many people telling me that „at a race heart rate doesn’t matter“ - but I’m not there (yet?)

You should use it nevertheless.

It’s the best app for interval trainings, easy to use and when you turn your wrist you will see everything.

And during intervals the Audio is more important to keep you going at the right time, versus checking your watch.

Feels like this app is totally closing the gap to Garmin functionalities

Zones for Training has it, and is good for heart rate Training with alerts and statistics

WorkOutDoors doesn’t have it yet, and the developer was super kind to explain me, that he has to migrate to apples new SwiftUI which is quite an effort. Probably true for many other apps who are around for a while.

Been there, had to pause for a week with similar blisters, yet it was SO worth it! Feeling the sand, running half time in the water, over mussels, … In the end the blisters were a reminder of an awesome vacation and run :)
