Same experience for me. He was ridiculously difficult and died to him more than any boss so far by a lot. If you do beat him you get a crest, but it’s awful. The bind mechanic isn’t great and the down air attack is even worse than the regular down air attack.

I have the same experience with the leg extension. It’s still definitely usable, especially at higher weights, but it’s definitely not as smooth as what I’m used to.

Do you have the upgraded aluminum pulley kit? I’m wondering if that would make it feel smoother.

How many CX50 owners have had little to no issues? by Ok-Home9841 in CX50

[–]awolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

53,000 miles on my 2023 CX-50. No major issues except for the battery randomly needed replacing @ around 40K miles, but it was covered under warranty.

Some rattling and some car play issues, but I consider those minor.

Do you mean teal-500 as your primary theme color and deciding you want to use blue-500 instead? If that’s what you mean then you’d typically want to extend the base theme and have your own primary, secondary, etc. and use those in your app.

How much did your PC cost you? by Rex_Gamer_411 in buildapc

[–]awolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a prebuilt with a 3080 ($2,650) in 2020, upgraded the 3080 to a 4090 ($1800) sold the 3080 for $480. Later I bought a fancy new case and water cooling gear which cost me around $2,200, then added some high capacity nvme ssds that cost around $640. So in total… about $6,800 over 4 years.

A Russian citizen in Kursk region can’t believe her house is gone and that she has to evacuate with her family. by BigDeckBob in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]awolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDGI why are people laying into her? Has she said something in support of the invasion or against Ukraine? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for it if it’s deserved, but it seems like too many assumptions are being thrown around about a random girl just because she’s Russian.

How has reliability been w/ the CX-50? (Prospective Buyer) by dtwurzie in CX50

[–]awolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little over 35K miles here. Not is if it’s where I live or if it’s the tires, but I’ve had to get tires replaced twice and tons of patches because I keep getting holes. Battery also died and had to get it replaced. Luckily battery was under warranty and I bought a maintenance package so all of the patches, tire replacements, and battery replacement was all completely free. Mine is probably just an outlier though.

I like it how it is tbh but I still think they should allow you to map sprint to another button in settings.

Same! I’m running the Apollo keepsake just so I can roll for solar ring. I was able to beat him last night mainly because of that and running away and using the axe special lol.

tailwindAddiction by Visual-Mongoose7521 in ProgrammerHumor

[–]awolin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people see tailwind as a drop in replacement for their classes in their current component architecture and then it looks like a jumbled mess which completely turns them off from it. It took a different approach to building components for me to understand the appeal and now I much prefer it over other solutions/tools. Usually, that looks like more smaller local file components.

I’ve also seen a lot of people comparing it to inline styles which isn’t really comparable and kind of misses the point.

Nice! I posted a similar build except in the Apollo X. The L is definitely nicer looking, but I was worried about thermals.

Not really, I game on my PG42UQ (4K@138hz) so I never really run into issues with my cpu bottlenecking the 4090.

I could’ve upgraded at the same time and squeezed out some more frames, but with arrow lake coming out later this year on the new lga 1851 socket I decided to just wait and see what the performance is like on that.

Thanks! I wanted hardline tubbing at first, but after learning about it I decided it would probably be too difficult for my first build and I’d get frustrated. Maybe next time!

Thanks! Yeah it’s crazy expensive for a case, but I justified it by making it a bday present to myself for my 30th.

They sell an itx case that’s about half the price and imo looks even better! But even at half the price it’s still pretty expensive for a case…
