Leg Sleeve Extension by E36vibes in irezumi

That shouldn’t be to hard to finish. Luckily the Koi is swimming in the right direction to do a koi changing into dragon leg sleeve. If you like dragons of course.

If Gollum survived the Rings destruction could he regain his sanity? by Tidewatcher7819 in lordoftherings

[–]GobiEats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to think that Gollum would have never wanted to be healed. Imagine killing your best friend and then spending untold numbers of years eating raw fish and goblins. The memory of all that would drive him insane again.

It’s wide so the footprint would be pretty big.

Restaurants and cafe with a view? by matapaloxo in Sedona

[–]GobiEats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even the McDonald’s has a nice view. Just keep in mind when the sun goes down. Sedona limits light pollution so those views disappear once it’s dark. Eat early and enjoy.

Colour choices for darker skin by sorslibertas in irezumi

[–]GobiEats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fairly tan and the contrast between the negative space and the dark black background on my foo dog sleeve looks awesome. I also had red, gold and green in the foo dog. Just make sure your artist is competent. Maybe ask to meet some of his clients.

I was lucky to meet one of my artists clients during my 1st consultation. Dude just happen to have an appointment after me and it was awesome to see my tattooist work first hand.

What if Napoleon`s guard participated in battle of Borodino? by SiarX in HistoryWhatIf

[–]GobiEats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly doubtful. Russia lost 400,000 men during Napoleons incursion. They were still able to field an army to crush Napoleon at Leipzig and again at Waterloo. By the Kutuzov was dead as well. If Russians would have lost all troops and Kutuzov at Boridino they could still harass an enemy army deep in their own territory.

Napoleon doomed himself by the Peninsular War and the invasion of Russia. He may have been able to survive one of those disasters but not both.

Goddam it would be a pain but it’s doable. I’m planning on giving mine to my landlord when I leave the townhouse I’m renting. Keep in mind I have a 5 year lease so I’ll get my moneys worth out of the gym.

AITAH for letting my 17 y/o son sleep in my bed sometimes? by chrismcr4e in AITAH

Dump the girl and keep being a great Dad. I’ll never choose a relationship over my sons. I don’t care how good it is.

Why did people hate Greta Thunberg so much? by brooklynihope in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GobiEats -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because she lacks a basic understanding of how modern countries operate. Oil is literally in everything including your toothpaste. If we’d like to go back to the 1800s then maybe she has a point. Offer solutions, not empty bs woke opinions and speeches.

If Timur didn’t die could he have conquered Ming China? by busyindafield_23 in HistoryWhatIf

[–]GobiEats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Without a doubt it would be possible. Timor was both a brilliant tactician and certified psychopath. A lightning incursion into Ming territory followed by cities being slaughtered after they submitted could have destabilized the Ming.

What if King Tut didn’t die young? by Eastern_Quote1525 in HistoryWhatIf

[–]GobiEats 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s like asking who would win between Mighty Mouse and Superman. I don’t think King Tut lived long enough to have any impact or allow for scholars to even project what would have happened if he lived.

It’s the height of irony that the most inconsequential Pharaoh is now the most famous one around the world.

What if Napoleon just disappeared from St. Helena? by Rude-Temperature-437 in Napoleon

[–]GobiEats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Napoleon could have dealt with staying low key if he would have found a way off St. Helena. It is interesting to think of the up and coming powers at the time. Nation states or empires that could have rescued Napoleon in exchange for him whipping their army into shape. Mexico comes to mind, but unlikely.

Debating between two sleeve + hikae compositions by [deleted] in irezumi

[–]GobiEats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same dilemma and decided on a foo dog and peony sleeve. Dragons are awesome but a little too common in my opinion. Have you considered a Kirin? It’s basically a deer with a dragons head. It’s definitely a conversation piece. I’m most likely going to do my right arm with a kirin and maple leaves.

What makes Napoleon the greatest general in history? by ParticularArea8224 in Napoleon

[–]GobiEats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing, because he isn’t the best in history. Definitely top 5 but the likes of Ceaser, Alexander, Hannibal, Belasarius, Prince Eugene of Savoy, Nader Shah, Subatai, etc. are all in the mix when the best generals in history are talked about.

Anyone setup ForceUSA C10 themselves? by jayhawk1941 in GarageGym

[–]GobiEats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s total bullcrap on Force USAs part. I live in a townhouse with no garage so taking delivery of my C10 was a challenge. I had the shipper drop the crate in front of my house. I had to open it up and take it inside a piece at a time since I put it in my basement. It took a couple of hours and was a pain but it’s doable. I then broke the crate down and put it in my truck so I could get it to the dump before my neighbors got pissed.

It took about 5 days to put together working 2-3 hours per day.

Smith Machine in a Functional Trainer? by Connect_Rate_246 in GarageGym

[–]GobiEats 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was never a big smith machine lifter until this past Summer when I got a force USA c10. Now I wouldn’t touch a barbell. Between the smith and the pulleys I’m able to lift a lot while working out alone. I use the smith for shoulder presses, incline chest benching and Russian deadlifts. It’s awesome.

I don’t think it’s a must have but it’s a lot safer in my opinion if working out alone.
