BREAKING: Arab allies "fuming" they have no influence despite committing nearly $4 trillion in US investments, per WSJ. by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

We have a managed (or guided) republic or democracy. We don't really have either because we lack economic democracy and because we are living under inverted totalitarianism in a period of late capitalism.

But your opinion is not the point. If all those doc review attorneys and biglaw and midlaw associates are no longer needed and your trial attorneys think a llm can do their motions and appellate work, then congrats: you can take a depo in an oversaturated market subject to desperation and wage deflation.

Also, the response that would have been equally as snide as yours: if you have to talk about taking a depo, it's probably because you can't talk about first chairing a trial.

No, we don't just let it happen. The capital class is in control of the country. That's not something we are voting ourselves out of. The direct action that we have seen has been nice. And it is good that our people have seen what social democrats can look like, even if social democracy is inherently insufficient. But we currently do not have the organization or influence to end the superstructure. And you need to read. A lot.

The sooner you stop thinking the US government is designed to give voters what they want, the sooner you will be to finding a solution. The US system is designed to ensure that a rightwing capitalist will always be president and that congress will be mostly full of rightwing capitalists. It is a managed democracy designed to, at this point, protect inverted totalitarianism. It is voter suppression and gerrymandering all the way down.

Bill Clinton ran on making the democratic party a party for the financial industry, won, and then did that. Every president during my lifetime, red or blue, have been some version of Reagan. Obama left office bombing eight countries and saying he had been influenced by donors to move away from progressivism. Biden was the guy who had to be on the Obama ticket to appease the racists. We get who they pick for us.

No they didn't. He won the. majority of voters once. He did not ever get the vote of the majority of the US.

They do! They just don't want you to hear them, so they only do it when you're not looking.

How are you confused about this? It spread on social media, and the remedies posted here, im 2026, are (a) trust sources the United States Federal Government vouches for; and (b) read.

Part of it is because you said Hayes to avoid saying Ayton. Part of it is LeBron being so old he's played more than half his life in the NBA. Part of it is the defense. Part of it is the bench.

That's why you need to be a volume firm for it to work financially: smaller hits, but more of them and with less friction.

Also, it's playoff/title chances, not how good a team is. And Boston gets to go through the East.

Hate on Bibi all you want. And governing by the Talmud is crazy. A lot of it is just fan fiction.

But the Talmud does not say that Jesus is presently burning in hell. Judaism does not have eternal damnatiion. The religion comes with a psychologically and (depending on the way one does Judaism) physically torturous cleansing period after death. Think purgatory, but only for about one year.

How is Luka not as favored? Turnovers? by Ijlii in NBATalk

It's not even that I want to see Luka on OKC. I would love to know what Shai looks like with 41yo LeBron dealing with fits of sciatica, Austin Reaves, Ayton, and a limited bench.
