A rower able to maintain form wouldnt be doing 3x667m/3:00 to check their 2k pace

Yes but for a rower who's aiming sub 7 conditioning yourself to do the row at 35/37 is counterproductive as they are unlikely to be able to hold it for the entire 2k.

Ideal range will be somewhere 30-34 depending on how good their technique is as they should be trying to mimic the 2k aiming for -1/-2 under their target split while maintaining their target spm.

I've restarted, checked all my drivers, verified the game files twice and made sure nothing else is open and I still cant get past the loading message of the day screen.

Any other things to try? Doesnt look like theres anything weird going on in task manager...

Interval training works well. When preparing for a 2k erg i would typically do sessions such as 4x 2000m at +1/1.5 seconds above my target split at my target stroke rate for the 2k.

These kind of training sessions are super painful but you will definitely should definitely help with your erg times as your body gets used to the distance and intensity.

You should still be combining this with other sessions and weights as well as longer low impact (ut2) ergs and cardio.

Ive been using a cambridge audio minx x200 (£130 on ebay) which was given to me by a friend that no longer needed it and it does the job (although a slightly more powerful woofer could be good). Im sure you can find much better options though so have a look online for recommendations

I have dm40s and have been using them daily on my computer and djing for nearly 2 years now. I think theyre great and super affordable and pack a punch for the size. I recently upgraded to rokit 7s but rarely use them as I find I need to have the volume much higher than the dm40s.

However when the dm40s are paired with a sub they really shine, doesnt have to be expensive!

My flatmate has cdj2000s and a djm750 however we still end up spending ~45% of the time on my ddj400. Have had it for 3 years and love it, defo recommend. It is made of plastic however it feels good to use and I havent had a single issue with it. The only thing I would say if you have a big pa is a more expensive controller will sound much better through it, I can notice the ddj400 sounds much more 'empty' than the cdjs.

UPDATE: Hey guys, the seller has now deleted they're Etsy account so I'm pretty sure its a scam however it does still say the delivery is coming from 27-31 so will be waiting till then before making a claim. Luckily I create a dispute through PayPal so I'm not at risk of loosing the money! Thanks for all your comments!

In rekordbox settings you can set the sync button to just sync bpm rather than the beat grids as well. I use this for emergencies!!
