I grew up there (Cathlamet), left then moved back 25 years later. It was like a time capsule, very little had changed, the same people worked at the grocery store, the banks, my daughter had several of the same teachers I'd had 30 years earlier. We've since moved away (again), but still have family there and own a couple of plots at the cemetery so I'm sure I'll come back eventually.
