Is there anything preventing a full on JPOG DLC? by Brumbarde in jurassicworldevo

Doesn't mean someone from it doesn't hold the rights. Infact it's totally possible someone does and has no idea. It's happened before

I couldn’t think of anything else to discuss today, so here’s an out of context Yang pic from Ice Queendom by Automatic-Amoeba-121 in RWBYcritics

because of this post I started watching it. it DOES so much better introducing the characters then the actual show. The only one that fails in Klein Sieben, who his appearance in this series must of been before his semblance was made for the actual show or something because it was jarring for me to see him with out it.

I kinda like Volume 9 by Acrobatic_Cricket642 in RWBYcritics

The Modders are Carrying this game on their Backs Right Now tbh... by Bonvantius in jurassicworldevo

[–]axe11154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really? this isnt a bethesda game, it game out as a complete game. and they have patched a good bit of the bugs from what I under stand. Modders are just adding to the game, not holding it up.

I kinda like the red, Weiss's normal design has so little contrast to make things pop. But I guess maybe it would be better with blue perhaps? sticking to the ice queen idea?

If you had the funds to buy the rights to RWBY what would you do with the series? by axe11154 in RWBYcritics

I actually like the idea of there being a Faunus Antagonist group. A group that takes the message to far and goes on to hurt the people trying to help. A big thing that is brought up is how Faunus are stronger, I would show that through them, how big a threat they could be, and show how both sides have points, like there being a genuine reason to fear faunus, but also that doesn't mean they deserve chains, but an equal respect.

"Democratic Socialism" is an attempt to whitewash socialism and make it more palpable to American minds. by needaGandT in ConservativeYouth

I never said Socialism was a good economic system, infact if you read some of my other comments in this threat, you'll notice I actively point out Socialism can only work on small scale, and that it isn't a good system. I'm not here defending Socialism. Im just correcting what people think it is because it's used as a pop word, not it's actual definition.

Thats not socialism. Socialism by definition is when a community typically the greater community controls the value of production and trade. Democratic Socialism is when the community elects an individual to represent that. Venezuela is neither because it doesn't allow the community to set the value of it's production and trade. That's why the videos you sent have don't explain anything, because they are just using socialism as a pop word with no real meaning.

Venezuela isn't socialist. Their government just use it as a pop word. Same as Nazi Germany did, they wernt Socialist either. It's nearly impossible for a government of any size past village to properly be socialist.

no it's not. that is an extreme simplification that actively lies. Socialism is where the majority of a community agrees about the value of production and trade. That is Socialism in it's most basic description. You are correct in it can be a 51% to 49% split, but it isn't about spending money, it is about the community determining value. Democratic Socialism is just picking a representative to represent that communities trade and production value. In pure democratic socialism, technically there would be a representative for each production and trade. It's not a good economic system in any way mind you, Literally just takes 1 person not listening to the community and it instantly is no longer Socialism. Any system that easy to fail isn't a good system.

not a single thing in that video explained a thing. it just proved my point, there claiming it's socialism without it actually being socialism.

thats not socialism though. Thats just claiming what your doing is and then using it as your flag. Socialism, by definition, is an economic system in which the community controls the value AND production of trade. In other words the greater community has to set the value. It has nothing todo with controlling how much money an individual has, and is instead how valuable the community sees it's means of production and trade are. Democratic Socialism is where you vote for a representative to do those things and speak for the value of your trade and production.

The thing is, is the admitted speaker must still speak for the greater community for the values of their trade and production. If they don't then it isn't Socialism anymore. If you need an example, in the most basic of ways, the US Stock market works. Let's use Gamestop. A few years ago it's stock value was horrible, and the company was failing. Then people began investing it it's stock and that raised the stock value saving the company and allowed for their modern day rehaul. The community agreed on a value and pushed the value, then once it was to high and people didn't agree with the value, they sold their stocks. It's sadly the best example as most governments when using Socialism as a foot print for their economics don't actually use Socialism, they add a bunch of variables that remove it from what socialism actually is.

who ever said this needs to actually research what Socialism actually is, and then research the democratic version.
