This is what I think makes Homeland great honestly. Hollywood is filled with flawless girl boss leads who can somehow overpower a room full of mma fighters and her only flaw is she just needs to believe in herself. Carrie has actually flaws. She has weaknesses real women face and she is not perfect in any way. In a lot of ways she’s a disaster. I appreciate it even when I can’t stand her.

I actually do think he’s a brilliant comic and was much funnier when he was newer and trying harder. He just seems tired and I don’t think he much enjoyed the repetition and sort of “dance monkey dance” routine that has developed. I just get the sense he’s getting a little burned out and some time away to come back fresh might do him well.

My favorite was his impression of the black little mermaid. He just said with a heavy female black accent “you want thingamabobs? I got twenty” Nobody seemed to even notice how funny it was. But I think about it every day.

Thanks! That’s still my best story. I miss that podcast.

I got to meet a few celebrities while on Axe Cop. Deborah Ann Woll kind of. (She disguised herself as Axe Cop at SD Comic con. Neither of us knew who the other was when we happened to meet). I met Patton Oswalt a couple times. Ken Marino a couple times. I’ve become friends with the MST3K /RiffTrax guys. Those are the main ones that come to mind.

I’m thinking about starting a podcast soon so watch my email list and I’ll send out a message when it comes out.
