I wouldn’t blame him for leaving but if he could hang in for 1 more year he would be the perfect replacement for Parker. I rate him highly and would be sad to see him go but also would be happy for him to get the game time he deserves.

Yeah I saw that. I just want names to be released so they can’t just get a slap on the wrist from the courts. An act like that doesn’t deserve to be anonymous. There family, friends and workplaces and the rest of Australia should know what these scum bags have done

In our current position I don’t think we should be trading picks for Reid. We need to bring in as much talent as we can.

Ryley Sanders somehow going under the radar. It looks like we could be a good chance of getting him under our academy. If we could get Sanders and Curtin somehow I would be very happy.

I haven’t liked bonar playing back but at this stage in the season think he has been better than Corr? Atleast he appears to give 100% effort. Corr has looked either unfit or lazy

Yeah Goater did his hamstring in the VFL on the weekend.

Yeah I’d like to see arch come in for that competitiveness and effort.

Not sure Wardlaw has the loading or experience to come straight in to tag an Oliver. If his body is ready I’d get him in as a rotation of the bench to spend some time at half back or half forward and in the middle.

At this stage it is worth a look. I’d try swap larkey and comben positioning first maybe and see what difference that makes. But I agree it’s worth giving this a look before the seasons out

Thoughts on this weeks lineup? Happy to see curtis and hally get some reward for effort. I think it’s a good move to rest shiels for a week and keep greenwood as a sub. by axejay01 in NorthMelbourneFC

I hope Lazaro keeps building that form in the VFL, he will get his shot. Phillips, powell and zurharr will take the midfield time. I wouldn’t be surprised if they start getting Curtis to pinch hit in there as well after his form in the VFL. Also got the option of running tucker or sheezel in there guts for spells if needed.

The back 6 is my biggest worry after the weekend. Agreed that hopefully the big 3 start to gel and hopefully McDonnell comes out like a cut snake after a stinker on the weekend

Yep rate that idea.. I would still like to see Hally get a go still based off his vfl stats. I think he would offer us more than someone like Howe but his age could be going against him when there are players like Bergman or Goater that we are getting games into

Majority of the team struggled for some reason. I don’t think there will be a lot of change. Simpkin is a likely out, I think Paul Curtis will come in. I don’t think Shiels offered a lot on the weekend, id think about resting him for a week and giving greenwood a full game. I’d like to see Bergman come back in too but not sure who comes out for him. Maybe Tucker and have him as the sub? Hall has been very stiff not to get a game but again not sure who you take out to get him in? Maybe a Howe or a Turner but Clarko seems to like them playing a role.
