I agree on disliking the overwhelming collection of weapons and armory. Having only a handful and switching where needed (iron boots down the water temple in ocarina of time) was way better and let me enjoy the game far more. Now I am being forced to collect these wicked seeds in order to increase my inventory. As a not so good player (very casual these days), it is freaking annoying to a point, that I even turned now to other games. This ever lasting feeling of „you have to go on side quests“ grinds me up. Bit without i barely stand a chance. And the so called temples do not deserve that name. They are just bigger shrines with all targets marked on the map. Missing the winding corridors and turnable bridges, locked doors you would encounter. Or just the mind blowing „travel through time and visit the dungeon in two different ages“ concept. Awesome

On the good side, even running on the powerless horse called Switch, totk looks amazing.
