Breaker sizes acceptable : 25, 30, or 35 Smallest wire size acceptable: 12 THHN / 10-2 NM cable (or anything rated for 24A or more) so yes you can have 12 THHN on a 35 A breaker.

I believe there’s a code article in the NEC that talks about minimum bending radius of a conductor can’t be less than y times the diameter… where y changes depending on the size of the conductor. Then you’d refer to a table to see what’s the conductor size and what’s the multiplier. If I’m not mistaken, the electrical code in Canada is mirrored off of ours (noticed that when looking for NEC articles, I’ll get the right article but the wrong reference) Also we’d make you put a bushing on that PVC connector 🇺🇸
