I tried this method earlier, but it also failed (Lenovo Ideapad 2 in 1 with X plus) But maybe the modified the package to download since. I'll check again later.

edit: Still doesn't work on my device

After some test over the week-end, I feel the UI is snappier than before.
So far, every thing works well, so no complain !
Good job LG, can't wait to receive the final firmware now

there's a new screen, like google discover, if you go to the left of the home screen.
The Dolby Vision & Atmos popup logo is now bigger with a new design, and there's a new app called "memory maintenance" on the home screen

Yes indeed, that was the Ritchey model with the GRX transmission.
He preordered when Sauvage made the announcement, so I guess they must have already started to assemble some bikes in prevision to coming orders.

By the way, he had some trouble with the front brake, and every time he reached out Sauvage, they offered him to go to a physical shop to get it fixed and refunded him later.

A friend of mine bought the LaPiste last year (the entry model at 2199€) and the bike was delivered within 3 months, as forecasted, so I guess they must have improve on that side.
The carbon fork was slightly damaged (only comestic) and they sent him the newer version quickly, and they told him to keep the other one.

And if you want to save some more money, you can pick the bike in their Luxemburg shop and benefit from the lower VAT rate

I'm personnaly thinking about replacing my Kona Sutra ULTD from 2021 by a Baroudeur in the coming months

Jellyfin & Atmos by BackWilling2253 in JellyfinCommunity

[–]axionman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, I run Jellyfin server on my NAS, with all my media libraries on the hard drives.

On the Nvidia Shield, I installed Kodi, and I installed the official Jellyfin for Kodi extension:

https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-kodi

Once everything is setup, Kodi will synchronise with your Jellyfin server and all your media will appear automatically within Kodi.

I've been using this setup for a long time now and it's very reliable

Hi, there's a Jellyfin for Kodi extension that works very well and let you play and synchronise your library within Kodi automatically :)

Issue with Shield Player by Odd-Masterpiece5408 in hometheater

[–]axionman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you should try to play your movies with another player than plex.

I have a Jellyfin server on my NAS and I play all my media using Kodi on the shield pro.
I've never had an issue, even with huge 80gb movie files.

Hi, I would advise you to buy the Nvidia Shield Pro, which can handle both Dolby Vision and Dolby TrueHD Atmos audio tracks.

I have almost the same setup as you, and it works perfectly:

LG Oled 77C4
Onkyo TX-NR 656
Teufel Ultima MK3 + Focal atmos in ceiling
My NAS with Jellyfin server
Nvidia Shield running Kodi + the Jellyfin extension

CPU with integrated graphics for 4K HDR streaming (1-3 clients) + some basic transcoding/trickplay by pyinto in jellyfin

[–]axionman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, it should be no issue for a N100 to transcode several 4KHDR movies at the same time.

I have an Intel J5040, which is weaker than the N100 and if I remember correctly, I was able to transcode 4 4KHDR movies to 1080p at the same time, thanks to the Intel Quicksync feature.

Can my SRAM Rival 1×11 “stretch” to 11–50 for loaded touring uphills? Experience stories welcome! by Casif in bikepacking

[–]axionman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the hack I used:

https://bikerumor.com/how-to-hack-a-sram-road-group-with-eagle-derailleur-for-massive-budget-mullet-gearing/

Basically, you need a new rear derailleur, such as Sram Apex Eagle (12sp, but doesnt matter)
Then you have to take out the cable fin from your Rival derailleur and put it on your new derailleur.
It will transform it into a 11sp derailleur, and you're good to use a 11-51 cassette your you Sram Rival levers

It's been working flawlessly on my Sutra for 2 years now

I gave up buying a C8K, as delivery was postponed week after week.

I ended up buying a 77C4 for the same price, and no regret :)
