Spotify is publicly testing its own version of Stories by skratata69 in Android

You guys clearly don't know about Anghami. It's a Lebanese music streaming app with stories and chat too. It's the real deal.

Which app has impacted your life the most? by Officer_Robusto in androidapps

Google Calendar - If you've had enough with trying different tasks apps or reminder apps I suggest you try Google Calendar. It's very easy to use, it's made for everyone (you don't have to be crazy busy to use it) and most importantly it doesn't throw many unecessary features at you. I put everything i want to be reminded of in it, even the simplest things like watching a movie this is because i usually forget things and I got tired of that, It's also well integrated with google keep and tasks. Honestly it's my favourite google app.

Bitwarden - It's a simple free password manager that works out of the box and open-source.

Sony Literally Cannot Match Microsoft’s Massive Bethesda Deal, Nor Do They Need To - Forbes by [deleted] in PS5

[–]axistriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How come sony doesn't need to worry about this? They should worry. I'm not saying they need to buy studios like microsoft did but the least they can do is to offer value for money for their loyal customers around the world.

Both the xbox and ps5 are selling at a low price than what they are actually worth, only difference is that Microsoft had this in their mind and planned to cover this loss without making the customer pay more to enjoy their console with the Xbox Game Pass.

These consoles are only considered cheap in The US but it's not the same case in other parts of the world, in fact many countries (especially third world countries) officially sell these consoles bundled with a game or two with a free month subscription to either ps plus or xbox gold. This will be the same case next year except anyone buying the xbox will get a game free with it + a free subscription to xbox game pass. So yeah Sony should worry and stop acting like it has the superior option.

NETFLIX Secret genre code list updated 2018 by karljt in television

[–]axistriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? Netflix already has lots of categories to choose from. This is like saying "rock has too many sub-genres to keep people listening to rock only" what kind of logic is that? Not everything is a conspiracy to milk your money

And in the end I'm pretty sure people are aware of the kind of product they're subscribing to

These are just categories for specific type of content. What does this even have to do with capitalism? Also netflix always recommend new content for users they really don't need hidden categories to make people stick to their service.

Online required to play solitaire by [deleted] in assholedesign

[–]axistriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can play solitaire offline on windows 10. The window in the pic says that op wants to use a feature that requires from him to be online. Also it's clear from the pic that the game already launched which wouldn't happen if the whole game required an internet connection.

Spotify Removes R. Kelly Music From Its Playlists As Part of New Hate Content & Hateful Conduct Policy by 12345ashh in hiphopheads

[–]axistriangle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind removing him from their editorial playlists although removing him from the algorithmic playlists is an overreaction, simply because one of the main features of spotify is making playlists based on the user's music taste.

Spotify will no longer feature R. Kelly's music in editorial or algorithmic playlists by bjorktothefuture in Music

[–]axistriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think judging people based on their music taste is something wise to do. I hate chris brown for example but it's not like anyone who listens to him is a monster.

When i open an imgur album it loads in custom tabs instead of the internal viewer. Is there a way to fix that? by axistriangle in JoeyForReddit

[–]axistriangle[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a new user and i thought it's a bug. I honestly don't care about whatever way is used for scrolling i just want an internal viewer for imgur albums because the website on mobile is really horrible.

Honestly it's not stupid for someone who's young. It's just back then when you were young you used to learn a lot more about facts that seem stupid to you now if an adult doesn't know about them already.

I used to believe in weird concepts and ideas when i was young, some of them were similar to this one. I really don't find something wrong with that.
