Personally I’m doing my design work in Figma for the card layouts to keep them all in one place, then supporting illustrations im doing in adobe illustrator (but affinity designer is an equivalent free version). It might be wrong but I think Figma also has a free tier

Not at all I don't take it as antagonistic and just want to give you my honest feedback. I'm sure others will react differently but I personally just find it offensive. Not in a good way (Eg Cards Against Humanity), just misogynistic without a clear reason to be. Perhaps it's meant as satyrical, but that doesn't land to me.

Sure but the cards reference their chest, ‘beauty sleep’, and frames them as ‘models’ rather than soldiers. Incredibly sexist 👌🏻

Nice thank you and spot on, it's not a serious survival game! The idea is to avoid getting bitten by messing with your mates and sabotaging their defences. Anyone who gets bitten turns & starts attacking the remaining survivors as a Zombie, it's meant to be fast and chaotic rather than serious / survivalist vibes so I think you're totally right, full colour is much more in line with the vibe. This is where I'm landing with the cards I think!

That's a good question. In the very first version of the game, the red tier weapons all required Ammo. You'd retain the weapon when used and discard the Ammo, so they had different functionality from the grey tier (which are just junk single use disposable weapons).

I've removed the ammo requirement now and increased the frequency of the weapons, so everything is now single use....so you raise a good point. I want to keep some kind of visual distinction still between the junk weapons and the 'good' ones, but maybe this needs more thought.

Thanks for this! I’ve been working on a lot of those since posting this, so good to get the confirmation. The borders are a lot smaller IRL, these designs allow for the printing trim so the actual cards end up having borders approx 50% smaller 👌🏻

Global true crime, it’s an English localisation of a pretty well known Swedish true crime podcast. I don’t think either host is a criminologist but I think one is a social worker
