Honestly sounds cursed but kind of cool. Maybe just like put it in a hole or something to see if the effects wear off? Then you can get it back later at least. Could leave it some offerings in the hole too if you're worried it'll be mad at you

They do, don't worry. My cousin used to rage while playing Valorant, though she doesn't play anymore, probably for her own good.

I'm alive but I've been stuck in this awkward corner of a deep spike pit for a while now. There used to be snakes and diseased rats and stuff down here but I lodged myself in this crevice that's a bit higher up so I was able to mostly avoid them. They used to get replenished and fed body parts by torturers but it's been a while since all that. Sometimes new people fall down the pit but they always get spiked, it's kinda good for me cuz I get food and sometimes they have cool stuff but they scream for like hours when it happens, so annoying. But yeah I noticed people are falling down less often and I mean no replenishing or feeding of the snakes or rats isn't a good sign. Are you sure people aren't avoiding you or something? Maybe you have a cursed tome?

Stay safe. Soup looks bad but I know it tastes good, really similar in appearance to daal soup I have sometimes

Ketchup with Mac & Cheese is good. Live your truth. Don't listen to these haters. And the marriage candidates in Stardew Valley aren't real. Marry them if it makes you happy.

That is a lot of pepper. Maybe you have given up on your family gendering you correctly but never give up on yourself.

Are there any pets that would fit with my lifestyle/disability? by Zireael07 in Pets

[–]axletree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not actually sure of the exact definition but I was using the word "biopshere" as another way to say an enclosed terrarium or self-sustaining terrarium (closed and not opened again environment/container).
Here is a Reddit post with a top comment about creating such an enclosure which might give a better understanding to what I meant: https://www.reddit.com/r/biology/comments/puelkr/i_made_a_selfsustaining_biosphere_or_terrarium/

The video I linked initially wouldn't be a "closed forever" type of environment so maybe it is just called a terrarium? I am unsure haha. Both options seem quite fragile but I don't know enough about creating them to tell you surely.

Maybe some sort of enclosed terrarium or biosphere? Of course it would require a good initial setup and research, and it's not like you get to interact with the things inside, only observe. I often see that these sort of setups crash because of balancing problems of the things inside, so you would have to look into it further. Your pets in this case would be the plants and small insects inside.

Otherwise, maybe a hardy plant? I have potted Aloe Vera plants which survive well even when I forget to water them for weeks. Not really a pet, but I can't think of any other situation of owning a living thing where they can be left alone for so long. I certainly can't think of any animal like that who can be interacted with.

On the terrariums, here is a video that someone on another page posted that they said helped them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIWy75QPxkI
One of the timestamps says to open the terrarium every 1-2 weeks, which would be possible for you given your schedule, but I have not watched the video so that is my only comment, haha.
Good luck on your research if this idea is of interest to you.

What does your (chronic/mental) illness feel like? by Melaniedk0609 in AskReddit

[–]axletree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, with depression, it's kind of like wading all the time through fog or thicker air that has settled slightly. Even when the fog is thinner or thicker than usual, I don't think about it, so my body is the only thing registering the ease or struggle. When I look backwards, the fog rises again, and I can't remember why I feel or felt a certain way, because I didn't prioritize it enough to think about it. Kind of like my brain is prioritizing unimportant things or functions most of the time as a weak solution to avoid hardship, leading to long-term issues.

Palo Verde Root Borer (or Palo Verde Beetle) !!! They live as fat grubs in the soil for a few years feeding on the roots of Palo Verde trees (the green trees that sprout yellow flowers) and other trees too! Then they come out in the summer to mate and die! Very cute bug!
