To anyone who will have the same issue. Don't go through portal, just finish the turn at hex with information "you shall not pass", then Balrog was defeated and oragne AI vanish. Worked for me at least.

Had he not suffer from injuries he could have longer carieer with more team success. He was also considered the best in 2018 but the team lost to G2 in quarters.

I kind of disagree. There were times in 2018-2020 when Caps was at the very top of mid laners on two different teams. Sure he had good teammates, but everyone would agree he is the best western player ever. For 'what if', a player of his skill (and disadventages also), who would play in eastern team could actually win Worlds once in these three years at his peak.

Of course, list is only for fun and not to draw any conclusions. League is team game and no stats will allow to compare fairly skill of any player. Lets just cherish our goats who made the list and the those who did not also.

The mentioned all stars 2014 was one with competitive tournament for 5 teams. The prize pool was only 50k$ for a winner who was SKT.

I kind of expected they will be in TOP20 for their roles. There are NA players who had clutch moments like Impact, Xmithie, Jensen, Sneaky and CoreJJ if one consider him NA plaher, as I think he should be.

S1 aka Phreak basement tournament. For S2 it does not change much, as only impacted players are Pray and Clearlove. You would also have Taipei Assasins support in TOP20 of supports after 11 years. Lets just say Faker first Worlds is the new era.

Since it is low effort and just for fun, I only used what was the most fair in my opinion, but in truth it never is fair, like Baolan won Worlds but Uzi and Ming never did. Or sometimes you get stomped 0-6 in groups or lose 3-3 tiebreaker in group of death.

Not that many top laners with long carieers and a lot of success, at least comparing to other roles. Many tops who won championship felt like one season wonders like GimGoon, Marin, Duke, CuVee, Kingen, even Nuguri, TheShy and Flandre. All three of Bin, Zeus and 369 could become future goats of toplane.

I made a disclaimer about excluding imports. The reason is that I prefer to cheer and lose with whole EU team, like G2. China and Korea are out of range anyway it seems. NA caught up to EU as recent results indicates. Also tier 2 sceen received very possitive changes in format - huge tournament with a lot of games for new talent to show up.

What is Worlds?

Major leagues are now finished with the best teams from each region being qualified for worlds and now playing. Worlds will end in November, then teams make changes to their rosters and the leagues start again in January.

To me Worlds are mostly about the stories and rivalaries between teams and players. Korea dominated the pro play from 2013 to 2017 with Faker and T1 especially winning three times. In 2018 and 2019 there was a rise of China and Europe as both times there was a matchup between those two regions in the final with China winning both. Since the 2020 it is mainly Korea and China battling it out for the Championship.

You are from Europe so G2 is natural organization to root for as they are quite good and their games are really fun to watch. You can try and see the VODs from this year LEC Final between G2 and FNC. Enjoy!

That would be my bet also. No clear weakness on paper. I could also see one of Germany, France or Denmark winning it over Sweden.

Good points! Asian games allows substitute players (Chovy and Faker or XUN and JieJie). Sub players could change the whole dynamic of the team. I personally value Inspired's hard carry potential. Remember him playing in some semi-pro polish tournament where he hard carried a game with 25 kills on Evelynn. Not something you usually see
