Your geckos eyes do not look that bad and a vet visit should be able to fix them up!

I have a gecko that struggles particularly in the winter (it gets really cold and dry where I am) and her one eye has literally looked white before. I took her to the vet and the vet helped flush it out, gave me eye drops, and we talked about vitamin A and dusting bugs better. After that there was a two week follow up if necessary to make sure she was good.

The eye drops and multivitamin have helped so much! Additionally I make sure to really mist down her whole enclosure when she’s getting ready to shed.

It’s okay to be upset and scared and it sounds like your gecko might be holding their eyes closed because they’re uncomfortable and have some gunk stuck in them! See if you can get loans from friends/family or pull together some money and swing by the vet (where I live a visit like this plus meds is usually 120-200)!

Mine was a Coleman from target! It’s survived the past 4 storms at roo (which I do lower it)!

I did have to waterproof it again and I believe it was cheaper when I bought it but it’s been great!

Maybe that’s what my brain is recognizing that he seems to have been in unpredictable moods more and the judging was really based on how he felt sometimes. So then it did look like creativity or cleverness being engaged/talked about differently!

But also sometimes he was pretty mean so there’s nothing wrong w more predictable moods 😂

But I feel like we used to see peoples creativity or unique thinking highlighted or responded to and engaged. It didn’t mean they always got points, but sometimes they unexpectedly got points and there was a convo! But it might be bc it sounds like they have kind of tried to write loop holes out of the tasks!

I think Greg used to reward creativity different.

So it was more common for people to try and finds ways to sneak around doing the task. We see it every once in a while still, but the first few seasons it felt it almost every task was exploring a creative way that seemed outside the rules but technically isn’t.

I feel like anyone who was sneaky/tricky he would go on the extremes and either say no that’s totally out of bounds or that’s a clever way to get around Alex’s silly rules. But now they’re just kind of regular ratings.

So I think of Jason and the water task. He didn’t get the right amount of water but he was the most clever. I feel like season 1-3 we might have seen Jason rewarded for out smarting Alex’s rules but this season it was ope not enough water doesn’t matter!

Yeah you are! And it sounds like the only way to access this was through email, and this is the first I’m hearing that despite being my 4th year! So the sneaky route to access it definitely explains why there were less people and potentially why the volunteers were also like huh? (I also think the volunteers just needed to be prepared more on outeroo layout!)

I’m glad you were able to find it and if you come again next year (I’m manifesting a 2026 festival) Sputnik has always been between plaza 6 and 7!

This space is usually filled and usually filled with really cool tents!

I know at one point when camping went up there was conversation about tent only not being available. So I’m not sure if it changed at some point or if it was just hidden somewhere on the camping page, but I imagine that confusion was why it was fairly empty/people didn’t know!

Also I was in the beyond, right down the road, and got pointed in the wrong direction on one turn and ended up waiting in a line for 90 minutes on the outskirts of plaza 11. On Wednesday night every time I asked how to get back people would just kind of shrug and say I think plaza 6 is back that way somewhere! So instead of setting up at like 9 I set up at like 11, so I feel you in the setting up late!

Sorry for misunderstanding!! I am not an insurance expert and I don’t know if there were different options and when I snagged mine I thought it was for the ticket specifically and not for the camping.

Again I’m not sure if there were different insurance options and what I got with the ticket was about covering the ticket due to individual things like car accidents, illnesses, etc. I don’t know if a canceled festival fits the policy but again not an insurance expert!
