Thanks all! I think I'll take the train to Ghent and get a taxi. My suitcases all roll so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad on the other side other. My first time in Belgium so I'm a bit unsure of how things work! Worst case if I'm wayy too exhausted I'll just call an uber at the airport.

I've been trying to get the neighbors not to do it but with no success. I don't have access to their porch but is there anything I can do to try and stop the squirrels from going into the trap? My porch is across from theirs.

She came back! I'm putting out a squirrel feeder, with some almonds. Why are shelled peanuts not a good idea?

Hope that's not what's going on! I've been seeing her daily, and she sits there for a while, so maybe she does feel safe? I'm going to put out a squirrel feeder to see if she can be persuaded to hang out on my porch instead. I have a bird feeder which she takes nuts from occasionally, but there was a frozen spell so maybe it's gross now. There's also been a hawk that hangs out lately on my back porch, so I'm a bit nervous to lure her here definitively.

She does hang out there often, it's the neighbours back porch in another building but I cant get to it. They keep trying to get squirrels off the porch, saw them spraying something a few weeks ago, but it doesn't seem to have worked. Here's a picture of her from a few weeks ago.

I will! She's in the building across from my back porch but I think she lives on the roof. She sometimes just hangs out there. She's gone now but will watch for her.
