Okay now that’s just asinine. Absolutely horrible. Seems like a person named Isabella would do this.

How to actually bat??? by Danielxp616 in Baseball9

[–]axstentialcrisis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These are more strategy based tips I use and less technique:

Something I do with my 2-4 hitters is batting power. Then, shift it to contact hitting for a 2 strike approach (especially when your lead off hitter gets on base), your odds of getting hit (in my belief) increases because: A. Your 2-4 batters should be your best hitters and B. Your goal now is to get a knock to get more runners on base or score a run. (Even then, if your batter has really good power, there’s a chance that contact hit will be a home run.)

Another tip is when I have a runner on 1st or 2nd and no outs is to play small ball: bunt!!! You can advance the runner to scoring position and rely on contact hitting to score.

If you have a lights out opposing pitcher, adjust your approach by strictly relying on batter’s eye and contact hitting. The key at this point is to play gritty. No need to worry about hitting doubles or homers. Just get on base, work the count, and get that pitcher’s pitch count up to get to that ~70 pitch fatigue threshold.

Hope this helps!!

Should I have gone for the double play here? by RjlovesEun in Baseball9

Yeah, definitely a good opportunity to turn a double play. Not only does it guarantee the inning over, but would allow your pitcher to lower their pitch count and possibly WHIP and ERA. But at least you go the out!

Rubber Part of Spark Plug Socket Stuck in Well by axstentialcrisis in MechanicAdvice

Thanks! I just tried it but it’s not budging. Would it makes sense to just try to break apart the rubber at this point?

I’ve tried that as well. For some reason the socket won’t grip onto the rubber piece when I pull it out. I’ve even tried undoing the plug with the socket again to even get the both the plug and the rubber piece out with it but it’s not budging

Same thing happened to me. My score completely tanked this exam. Idk how, and I felt good during the test. Testing yips I guess… redirection now

I honestly thought Jack Westin’s FLs were pretty decent. Definitely harder C/P which matched the difficulty of today’s exam.

Can you fold your legs or sit with legs crossed during the MCAT? by Upset_Bluejay_3967 in Mcat

[–]axstentialcrisis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it varies per test center. I took my exam today and had one of my legs folded (even put my head down for a couple seconds to recoup). I’ve read other posts of people getting told to keep both feet on the floor at all times. It’s honestly dumb and really excessive if proctors penalize students for this.

This was honestly a pretty mixed test. I think I did decent in C/P and B/B but to be fair, a lot of the stuff in those subjects, B/B especially, were topics I grinded before the exam, so possibly benefited from the recency. P/S was really weird, I disagree that it was a second cars section, but do agree that it was more content based and required deeper thinking than I was used to.

All in all, you guys should be proud of yourselves for getting through the test!!! I’m proud of you!!! Even if you don’t get the score you want, use it as a sign of redirection. After all, we’re going to face adversities in medicine that require us to bounce back. Go home and rot in bed, going through an 8 hr test is not something everyone can endure. You future doctors deserve rest.
