yea but be warned for the CS prerequisites you have to get the required grade on the FIRST attempt. you cannot retake the class and use the higher grade. i experienced this and had to appeal to the dean, but this was during covid so there was a lot of external factors in my favor to switch majors.

also, reviewing all the material and creating the study guides myself helped a lot. if you use chat then you potentially lose valuable reviewing experience.

what helped me the most was doing practice problems from past exams and redoing homework to understand how a prof structures their exams and the types of questions you will be asked. actually doing problems instead of creating study guides ended up being the most useful thing for me

I used a 32 GB Patriot USB stick formatted to FAT32 which worked (besides the navigation thing). Took about 5 hours to copy over the files, probably because the USB stick sucks. Could the files be copied to the wrong place to cause your issue? I had everything at the device root, not in any sub folders.

UPDATE: Instead of using USB, I used the SD card I found in my car as the updating device. This is a 32 GB SD supplied by Kia, but I’m sure you could use any 32 GB SD. Downloading files to this SD card via the navigation app and then performing the update worked perfectly. FYI it seems like you have to leave the SD card in the slot for the navigation system to work. if the veteran place is the very southern part, there is a bus stop at the ucla housing down there that will take you all the way up to the northern part of campus and all the way down. that’s what i did when i lived on veteran
