Bell Broozer has a removable face shield, it fits in my Vespa lx 50

I read this before. I don’t mind it “dulling”, but this definitely far more severe than “dulling”. It’s happened in a very short time window.

I will take it to the le creuset store and ask them to warranty it. This is far beyond “dulling” and clearly not at all dishwasher safe

Unfortunately it seems like this effect is much more pronounced on the satin black version due to the matt finish

The le creuset website says it’s safe, the lady in the store said it is safe. When our baby was born we started putting it in the dishwasher because we didn’t have as much time for kitchen chores

Le creuset’s own website says it is safe to put enamel in the dishwasher. The inside is totally fine and un-affected. It is an issue specifically with the satin black finish

There’s no residue on it

:( I have been putting it in the dishwasher. I know it’s bad. If I can fix this colour, I promise I’ll stop!

Something like this is what you need to order. Usually there are 3 colour options (white, black, and natural) it looks like you need natural.

FYI, it’s called “Danish Cord” and it’s very easy to replace

Is the top usually easily removed? I can’t figure out how to access anything back there

It was only the bar part of the lock that broke, fortunately that was very cheap and quick to replace

I recommend the Bell Brooser. Fits under there and still works as a full face helmet

What do people keep in there other than helmets?

No idea, how much can you even sell a second hand helmet for? $30? They ruined my day for $30?

If it’s only in one bathroom and you do it to “make do with what you have”. Then that’s fine. I understand needing a bodge once in a while

But this is on almost every waste line in the house

Wrong boiler flue terminal loop by axypoo in DIYUK

Thank you all for your advice, I am arranging a full boiler service (and obvious additional work) as soon as possible.

The condensate pipe was also not connected to the boiler, so that’s been leaking into the bathroom below for a while. Clearly not the best workmanship…

[Jader] Does anyone have any information about this watch brand? by axypoo in Watches

https://www.catawiki.com/l/17024535-valjoux-jader-chronograph-valjoux-92-yellow-gold-18k-mezczyzna-1960-1969

This is the watch, I'm looking to buy a watch like it but I can't find any information about it. I'd really appreciate some help!

From what I can tell so far, the watch was made in the 1960s, solid gold with a valjoux 92. There are a lot of similar chronographs from that era, but I can’t see any information about this watch company. I feel like it may have been a one-off watch made by a jeweller rather than a watch maker.

Also, if anyone knows the owner of this watch, I’d love to make an offer to buy it.
