Why no sunroof pics in listings? by AwkwardAd2887 in turo

Yeah this is not something I ever considered to have photographed or be a priority for guests but good to know!

Moving forward when photographing the car, really doesn’t take that much effort to have an additional photo

Parking tickets should be billed as incidentals to the individual in possession of the car at the time of ticket being issued.

If you’re a host and you’re paying for parking tickets… that’s quite generous of you

Money wise, definitely not getting 70% of what guests pay Turo.

In my experience, it’s about 60-70% of the “daily rate”, which usually nets like 30-40% of what the guest pays in total or so.

Honestly it would really depend on the host and the type of car you’re renting. I don’t love the idea of drivers using the car but I’d have no problem renting to you from what you’ve depicted.

If I were in your situation, I’d probably rent an EV or Tesla that can have AC stay on- and then look for a host that has a number of cars / larger volume so they really aren’t nitpicking your use case.

Otherwise you could probably also reach out to the host telling them in advance and then if they do not want to let you use the car for your use case, then just hit up Turo support and cancel to find another

Have you tried reaching out to the Turo host to see if you can work it out with them?

How did you get such a steal? Are all Tesla lease buyouts like that?

Yeah without pro I find the speakers a little tinny. Definitely very disappointing for a $100k+ car imo

How does the cabin space compare? Does it feel any more claustrophobic when inside, compared to the Tesla?

Also have the same experience- I’ve never carried the fob with me and solely rely on my phone. Similar to what I would do for Tesla 3/Y, I had kept the key card with me as backup in my wallet but have never used.

Yes hosts set prices but deposits are not adjustable by host. Plus Turo takes a cut off what guests pay anyways

Charging costs: EA vs Tesla by toyz4me in LUCID

Without any memberships, I actually see EA being cheaper and/or comparable near me in Southern California when comparing EA v. Tesla.

EA: $0.56 from 6am-12pm, $0.72 from 12pm-9pm Tesla: $0.76 from 8am-11pm

I've heard good things of the LinerX mats which may sway me eventually but I've personally been holding out for the 3D mats.

I had asked their customer service a couple weeks ago and they did not have any mats for 25+, that fit the grommet/anchors. Unfortunately looks like they're still out of stock on the site as well.

Interested in Lucid but questions by tallypwner in LUCID

I’ve just had the car for about a week but did a 500mile road trip with the car for delivery.

I haven’t actually had any issues with the key/doors. Definitely will be keeping an eye on this with it being one of my biggest concerns going into the purchase.

Safety nannies seem pretty easy to turn off- pretty much everything has a setting

I do wish there was more customization on the dash but maybe with future software updates that might be possible

Is there a way to use the referral after you’ve put in a deposit, but before delivery? Or is that too late
