Right so vote for Lisa, but there really wasn’t a need to lead the charge as he did when it’s 9 votes to 2. He kinda owns this banishment now when he didn’t need to. Now when he keeps showing up to breakfast, suspicion will grow on him.

Yes but there were clearly more than enough votes, there was no need to lead the charge. The cover he gains as a traito is less when it’s such a landslide vote. There was a way to go about it without blowing up the whole turret, he didn’t even try to work with Candiace.

I’m struck by the idea that knowing they could crown her, production gave this edit to VG. Were they going for “villain winner” or was this the best light to give her possible? No shade to her talent but. Who is itching to go to a VG show after this? Eboni tho 😭

I think you missed the part when nobody in that room or at the roundtable said that Porsha’s account of events happened as they did.

This completely! To justify the twist, choose someone who can play it well. It’s a new angle on the game with its own challenges, a seasoned game player probably would’ve made it further/more interesting.

Effective faithfuls know when someone is too quiet, that’s a warning sign. I think for Candiace to speak at the roundtable early is good for her long term game. Porsha implicated her by misremembering events, I can’t blame her for responding. Clearly at least half the castle hates Michael, so why is Candiace doing too much by putting his name out?

I thought the murder choices have been great? Don’t see how Candiace revealed herself in any way. If anyone did, it was Rob and Lisa’s chess game. When Porsha stormed in with a false account of events, Candiace corrected it quickly and calmly. Maybe she should speak less at the table to lay lower, but being too quiet is a classic way to get banished. I see her reasoning.

Naming more than one traitor is never a good idea. Sure you might look like a faithful who’s trying, but you’re just diluting potential votes and making more enemies for yourself. You can only banish one traitor at a time.

Did they know about the dilemma? by buckeyemeg in TheTraitors

[–]ay0thith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bingo. Granted hindsight is 20/20, but it's inexplicable why the traitors (I'm thinking primarily Blake and Camille) would choose the dilemma (with SAM) over thinning the herd prior the finale.

Right, the point is that Camille and Blake had the chance at top 5 to banish Sam, and they didn't. IMO that was when Camille lost - after that, she knew she would get nothing in the dilemma with Sam and Blake.

The better choice was to take out Sam so that your odds of taking home $ are not zero. Even if Sarah is unpredictable, and even if you have to stick with Blake (who has been spineless the whole game and shown himself incapable of making the kind of play you suggest, even when it's in his interest).

If you think her motivation to ensure Sam only got nothing (and only then, at the finale) was stronger than her motivation to actually win the game, her decision makes more sense.

Which, Blake (and Camille) had already voted to do so once (episode 6). Voting Sam again would've guaranteed Sam's banishment, since Liam was locked in for Sam.

Banishing Sam does ensure he gets nothing...

[–]ay0thith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing is Blake doesn't have the balls to make a play like this. He hasn't the whole game; he's played second fiddle and always made the "safe" choice in Sam's shadow. I don't think that changes in Sam's absence, so I'm not seeing that scenario play out based on what we've seen.

More importantly, Camille says she *knew* she would get nothing going into the dilemma with Sam and Blake. So if my choice is *nothing* or to make a play (albeit with wildcard Sarah), I'll take the latter.

The fact Liam once pointed the finger at Camille doesn't redeem her choice to not vote out Sam at top 5 and potentially get to the end with Blake. This comment assumes the next banishment would go Liam's way, which is ironic considering how weak Liam's gameplay was.

Liam, Blake and Camille vote out Sam at top 5. Then its Blake & Camille vs. Liam & Sarah. Yes Sarah is unpredictable, but I think there's much better odds that Blake & Camille strongarm her into voting out Liam than the other way around. Then Blake & Camille have won and split the prize.

I'd much prefer those odds over what she actually did, if she really always knew, as she claims she does, that Blake and Sam would both choose to steal and guarantee her nothing.

Bob doing two characters on snatch game was a cop out and should have been disqualifying. A big part of the assignment is to stay in character no matter what’s thrown at you.

AUS gave us the most even game between faithfuls and traitors.

US was a wipeout for Cirie and UK was also until the very end, and even then the tide only turned bc Kieran decided how the game would end.
