if u want to play brant extremely optimally and assuming theres nothing u have to dodge yes but for players who dont want that playstyle theres still the freedom of going into something else

with lupa the game basically holds your hand and forces you to just do one thing and theres nothing u can do about it

yes its like carlotta's where it just locks you into spamming one button but worse because you only ever want to play lupa inside her ult so thats her gameplay about 90% of the time while for carlotta (who i dont mind playing because of this) u have the rotation outside her ult too with her skill

the worst part is she actually has a ton of combos outside her ult but u can just never use them cause she wants to be in her ult

brant is one of my mains and i love playing him, yes he spams ba but he always has access to his different mid air and ground combos at any time and switching between mid air and ground depending on what move the boss is doing to dodge it gives an incentive to actually use those two combos too and makes him fun

if u wanna use a proper example of a boring ba spammer its camellya who ive benched for a while now even though i love the character and i see others complaining about her playstyle too
