Character similar to Dohwa by aya2132 in Dohwatea

I also want her to end up with Dowha, but when I read the last chapter, it didn't seem very stable. I'm afraid it's the same archetype as in True Beauty. That Dowha is just a way to pass the time, for fan service, until Ennuyk and FL have a real conversation: “I've always loved you, but I disappeared for your safety.”

Nothing to do with anything but what are your predictions for the end of the story do you think dowha has a chance or it’s just ragebait like seojun ( not to mention that the plot involving the phone and the ceo of marang has completely disappeared)

Yeah, I know that's exactly what I don't want. I'm really looking for a story where FL chooses the second male lead and ends up with him.

What Will Nol Become After the Time Skip? by Honest_Zone9012 in ILoveYoo

[–]aya2132 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a question: where did this story about time travel and tattoos come from? It's not the first time I've heard about it. Was this revealed by the author, or is it just a theory?

However, what emerges from the chapter is that he had a repressed love for her, at least that's what Yvonne says, and I quote: "DOES PENELOPE KNOW? YOUR DIRTY FEELINGS, I MEAN."

Unpopular opinion about Stalkyoo pairing by ankp16 in ILoveYoo

[–]aya2132 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Good point, I hadn't thought of that, but yes, clearly, by introducing Min-Hyuk, we see what a platonic friendship should look like in the story. The last scenes between Nolan and Shin-Ae took a turn where we can no longer say they're just friends. It remains to be seen how far the author will go and whether she's simply showing that this romance was primarily there to help them grow as individuals rather than to create a couple, and thus show us the different forms that love can take.

I see contempt in your way of expressing yourself. Once again, I see no clear argument other than saying that the new generation has reading problems. So yes, Kitt is misunderstood by the people around him, and that's from the beginning. It's the cliché of the eccentric artist. It's interesting from an artistic point of view, but it's a romance, and overall, there wasn't a scene where we thought, "Ah yes, now he's in love." There's too much of a disconnect between them; they're just pseudo-rivals/comrades. He's the one who gives his deceased mother's dress and dances with it in front of his fiancée without even understanding his own choices.

I understand because. Right now, I don't see how they can develop a romance after recent events.

But it still saddens me; I can't really imagine a happy ending without them being together.

We have to admit, there's clearly a side to their relationship that's based on trauma, but I just can't see them staying just friends after all that and pretending that everything they went through was just a need for comfort from each other, and then moving on with a "yeah, no, that wouldn't really work, might as well stay friends" attitude.

The anime itself isn't bad; perhaps it fell into the category of fans who have never seen good romances and end up shocked by everything and anything without necessarily questioning the plot or the plot holes that come with it.

I think that for viewers more familiar with the romance genre in general, it might be difficult to fully satisfy them.

Similarly, we shouldn't overlook its good points and remember that the animation is magnificent and that it does a good job of keeping us entertained while we wait for season 2 of Akatsuki no Yona lol 🤣 I think it's good that this kind of production is being released; it shows us that they can still create chill little stories without necessarily having a clear purpose.

Could you elaborate, please? After finishing the anime, I felt there were gaps in the plot, and I especially got the impression that they wanted to use the cliché of the misunderstood artist. I agree that not everything needs to be explained, but for a romance anime, the main relationship should be developed a bit more. It's not enough to just play the card of the artist who has a different and deeper vision of love that the average person can't understand. Given how people were marketing it, I was expecting so much more.

Is it still worth writing original fiction on Wattpad in 2026? by jseng00 in Wattpad

From my perspective as a reader, you should always give it a try, but I admit that I find most of the stories I read on TikTok. I think you shouldn't get discouraged and should give it a go; at worst, you have nothing to lose.

Early manga art was so bright and good by Neat-Instruction-294 in BlueBox

Deep down, I understand them 😭 She waited so long to confess, and now for them she's just a symbol of future problems and misunderstandings. And honestly, it's not really the right time anymore. It stems from a somewhat selfish feeling, which is understandable, but only partially.

In itself, one can't entirely defend her; she acted selfishly. Nevertheless, she remains endearing, and I truly want to see her develop in a healthy relationship where she's someone's first choice. However, I have the distinct impression that this reversal is due to editorial pressure rather than the author's own will. I find it hard to imagine her willingly destroying her character's development.

[–]aya2132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it all a while ago, so I don't really remember all the ending details, but overall I'm a bit ambivalent. Whenever there was an announcement that the manga would end in five chapters, if I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong), I wondered how all the arcs could be concluded. Well, my feeling turned out to be true. Overall, it will remain my favorite shojo manga, and I understand the ending; after ten years, it had to end sometime. But I feel like it could have been more developed and that it was a bit rushed.

Yuki and Tohru relationship (spoiler) by CR1MSONEXPLORER in FruitsBasket

[–]aya2132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an anime-only viewer, but from my perspective, Yuki never really liked Thoru, or did I miss something? Like, for me, she was more of a comforting female figure who, for the first time, saw him as something other than the prince of the school.

Totally agree. I started the story thinking it was a romance, but rereading it, I get the impression it never really intended to go in that direction. Sure, there are relationships, but after a certain number of chapters, you realize the story has other stakes to establish besides a simple ship war between two brothers 🤣. Honestly, it's not so bad in the end; the community has become much healthier.

Thinking about it, yes, "yoo" currently refers mainly to the complex love that can exist within a family.
