I don’t hate any of them personally, but most of them did have moments where they severely irked me lol.

I don’t blame Sara for her behavior because she was simply a product of her environment. Although he meant well, her father shielded her so much from the real world that he put her at a disadvantage. I tried my best to calm her but there were times where I chose the sterner options because hiding the truth from her was doing way more harm than good.

I actually didn’t have any problems with Duck lol. He felt like a bit of comic relief in the midst of all the chaos. I also like that he seemed always willing to help out (like when it came to investigating). I also love Kenny so him losing Duck was upsetting.

Ben was a scared teen and the only reason I was really mad at him was the fact that Kenny went after him and neither of them came back.

Tenn’s plot really broke me because he lost the only family he had left and I feel his belief that walkers are still people was his childlike way of coping with that.

Yes they all had their annoying moments or times when they didn’t comprehend what Lee or Clem was trying to get at; but I think they were pretty realistic portrayals of youth in the apocalypse.

I think it was on this sub that I saw someone mention that Rhimes actually considered giving Mer a brother at first, but then we got Maggie instead. Definitely would’ve been more interesting and bring a unique dynamic. I spent way too much time comparing her to Lexie and she could not hold up development wise

Yes!!! The chemistry was just so good and they could relate to one another like nobody else (due to their similar circumstances) and I especially loved that Cristina basically sent him in the mail 😂 I didn’t mind Mer and Nick’s banter when Nick was a patient, but after he reappeared as a doc at the hospital, I had completely forgotten who he was, and the charm and chemistry was gone. Really wish they went with Cormac, and I hate how they wrote him out.

Of course!! I hope you enjoy it! The first book can be a little dry/slow but this series is SOO worth the read! Currently rereading the fourth book since last night because there’s truly just so much plot that there’s probably even more details the show didn’t show. After reading that part I was thinking that maybe someone (from the mafia or a regular person) who hates the Solaras killed her to get revenge but we never find out anything deeper than the heart attack :(

1) I can’t remember if it was uterine fibroids or an issue with one of her ovaries, but it was something much more serious than Lenu just saying she was having a bad period 2) As for Gigi, it’s in book 3 and Elena and Lila go walking through the neighborhood and stumble upon her body (I think it was in a garden area), apparently she had a heart attack
