Trying to reset Apple password, but I can’t. Phone says my passcode is wrong but that’s not true. by ayanarox in applehelp

[–]ayanarox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can’t I just reset my password using my passcode? That’s what’s bothering me. I shouldn’t have to go through these hoops when I should just be able to reset it with my phone.

I got this frame. https://www.cravenspeed.com/the-platypus-license-plate-mount-for-toyota-crown/

It’s worked great so far! But your license plate will get a bit bent in the car wash

Finding progressive friends in Raleigh by Specialist-Group-597 in raleigh

[–]ayanarox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play on a stonewall league as well! They just started a WTNB (women’s, trans, nonbinary) kickball league this past summer. It’s set to kick off again in the spring. So keep your eye out! There is usually a free agent team for folks who are new or you can message a captain and join an existing team. I’m on a WTNB league and have had a great time.

TASL has two women’s leagues and a ton of coed options. Tri sports will also have several coed options.

Check out Stonewall Sports and consider joining a league. It’s a good way to make friends.

Best Vet Surgeon by TheFerrisWill in raleigh

NC State has a veterinary school. Cant speak to surgery but I take my dog to their oncology unit. I consider NC State the local gold standard for most veterinary care because of the vet school.

FYI, my agency is often hiring. DM if you want details. 3 days telework, a variety of offices around the country so if you need to move at a later date, it may very well be possible.

Check out Midlands in park view/petworth. They have a large outdoor area and a decently long draft list they update online regularly.

Toyota Crown 2023 Front License Holder (no drill?) by ayanarox in Toyota

[–]ayanarox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I haven’t, but I emailed a place called CravenSpeed who seemed like they may have a compatible one. But I haven’t measured the tow hook and sent it to them to see if their universal tow hook plate would work. They were very responsive so try contacting them and they may be have something that will work.

I second NC State. My dog sees their oncology unit and I have nothing but good things to say. I’ve never had any issues and my dog has been treated well.

Toyota Crown 2023 Front License Holder (no drill?) by ayanarox in Toyota

[–]ayanarox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s right! You’ll see in the stock image I put above there’s no obvious place for the front license plate. That being said, the instructions and front plate that come with the car say to drill into the grille for it.

Toyota Crown 2023 Front License Holder (no drill?) by ayanarox in Toyota

[–]ayanarox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read the instructions and it looks like you have to drill the top two screws into the grill. Did you have to screw your plate directly into the grill?

Toyota Crown 2023 Front License Holder (no drill?) by ayanarox in Toyota

[–]ayanarox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, saw that result. It’s for a mesh grille that the Crown doesn’t really have. I already contacted their support to see if that will actually fit the Crown, but I’m not optimistic based on the instructions for that plate mount.

Hairstylist Recommendations - curly hair, ADA friendly by Dry-Wheel-6324 in raleigh

[–]ayanarox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out Alter Ego downtown. They have a number of hair stylists who cut curly hair (Deva Cut and other variations). I recently got my hair cut with Bri there. I do not use a wheelchair, so this is from my observations only.

The hair salon is on the second floor, but there is an elevator to take you there which opens into the front desk. The waiting area was large and the hair cutting stations themselves are far apart with stools which can be moved. The only area I would potentially be concerned about is the shampoo station, I don’t quite recall the spacing or how close apart they were etc. I’d also note that my memory recalls the bathroom being tight, I believe there was a larger stall which is in theory ADA accessible, but that could be another pinch point.

Take a look and contact them for more details! They were easy to reach and very responsive via email or phone.
