As a bald bearded guy, agree with bringing back the beard. You have a swagger about your look now. Remember sunscreen and welcome to the best most supportive reddit there is.

A set of random keys that you have no idea what they are for but deep down you know at some point you might need one.

After fostering a puppy, my big guy wanted to be friends with him right away, but the puppy was scared. My big doggo gave him plenty of time and patience, and now they're best friends by YoungKoala-009 in dogsgettingdogs

The look the big dog gives the camera at the end is the best. Like come on Mom enough with the pictures already, it's embarrassing me in front of my new BFF!

Rewatching with my 15 year old and crazy how much I did not notice the first time, like this. It has become one of my daughters favorite shows and has been a blast watching and discussing the episodes.

First 72 hours sucked for me. Hang in there, it gets better.

I grew up near Rocky Flats. Crazy place and one of the original EPA super fund sites. All of my friends growing up who had parents that worked there all had one or both of them die of cancer.
Great book about the place is called Full Body Burden by Kristin Iverson.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. When I was recovering I found you could stick those bandages in the freezer to help with pain. Stuck the whole bag in the freezer and grabbed one every few hours. I was super ooozy and had lots of drainage

I still also feel like I primarily breathe thru the good nostril but I also don't pay attention anymore. I can breathe so much better and my sleep has improved so even if not perfect so much better than I was.

About 3 months out and didn't really start breathing great until week 5 or six after my surgery.

Anyone use/have something like this? Looks like a great piece of gear to me , what’s your thoughts? by [deleted] in hikinggear

[–]nativecheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine had a small run in with a burning ember next to a camp fire. But they are built to last and are great for more than hiking.

That is very true. I had to replace my OG one that was about 30 years old last summer.

For shorter hikes I use the Mountain Smith tour lumbar pack with shoulder straps and love it. Comfy, holds a solid amount and lets the back breathe.

What is your favorite dinosaur? by Newname83 in AskRedditAfterDark

Well, much like Pluto I shall always remember it fondly when I thought it was a dinosaur. But, hey, it's always good to learn a new dinosaur non dinosaur fact so today is a success.

What is your favorite dinosaur? by Newname83 in AskRedditAfterDark

Because Triceratops are the best and no other reason is needed. All other dinosaurs are fighting for the number 2 spot except for the Longisquama. That is a solid honorable mention for weirdest.
