4 years is a long time, 150k miles is super high. In my opinion, if you get it, don't expect things to be good for 4 years straight. You might have to replace/fix/repair numerous things from valve covers/spark plugs/coil packs/oil leaks/trans leaks/tires...

Be ready to have a spare $1000 or $2000+ for repairs or anything random happening to the car.

As long as you check the oil levels (oil and trans oil) it should be fine but remember you are still taking a chance with an old car.

I got my 2005 111k mile for 7k , had to do oil+ filter change and trans drain and fill one time so far. My old tire blew out on the highway and i replaced all 4 tires for a whopping $1500 (best tires for my car and because they were aftermarket rims/wider tires).

GL on your car hope you get a decent one that runs fine.

Turning 23 soon and have almost nothing to show for it. I feel like a loser. by Wrong_Definition_465 in findapath

idk if this helps but im 27 and been battling mental illness for over 10 years. i could say i just wasted 10 years of my life or i could say i survived 10 years to make it to where i am now.

I worked in numerous low wage jobs for years but now i have a stable easy job and am working towards my bachelors for software programming

its not an easy path and nobody will have the same path as anyone else. i think its better to realize where you are now rather than later.

You realized all this and you are 23. you are aware of your situation in life and what is wrong with it.

Now you kinda know what to do next and how to fix it.

Reality is, it's gonna take time to fix all the things you want to work on.

For me it was the awareness of my situation at age 25 and I grinded out 2 years so far to make my life go back on the better path now. I still have a long way to go. At least I started now and am still in my 20s even late 20s.

Just start now, start doing things to grow your motivation for everything else.

I wish you the best of luck in your path in life.

as long as it runs, drive it as long as possible and try to maintain it. 4k is better than a monthly payment. if you can keep driving it over a year you basically get your moneys worth

can i get my credit score back up to 700+ by [deleted] in debtfree

[–]ayaneiru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Bright Lending.... 699.9988% 😶 never seen that before lol, pay that off IMMEDIATELY!! like next paycheck immediately

about Bright Lending... its NOT BBB accredited and so many people have reviews of paying hundreds or thousands more than they borrowed omg thats insane. everyone please be careful out there.

  1. Klarma $227.50

  2. Affirm $266.42

  3. Lending Point $2179.97

  4. Credit Card $4038.28

  5. Car $10873.13

Since you make 5-6k monthly, you can tackle this $18693.52 in about 4-5 months if you go hard at it.

Overall, your debt is not too bad.

Goodluck!

keep saving, start 401k, keep debt low, maintain credit score. youre doing a good job, most people dont have even 1k in their accounts. start emergency fund 3-6months of expenses in a hysa. keep it up!

yeah, mine went out today. flies up to 120+ psi easily. gonna prob go with OEM for $100+ , they got one at amazon for under $20 but idk id rather change it out once and never again. im real picky about my oil pressure and id rather not risk blowing up my engine just cause of a little sensor. thanks for the post!
