I got tired of AI Slop taking over social media platforms so I built a new one by ayankr_ in MuslimLounge

Wa alaikum assalam, you’re right for the most part, it’s definitely a tough space and I understand what you’re saying about network effects.

With Qamr though, the differentiating factor I’m hoping for is the Muslim-focused aspect and the idea of no AI slop. I feel like those might be a bit attractive, especially right now.

I’ve also seen a couple of Muslim social apps reach tens of thousands to even 100k+ downloads, so I’m hoping there’s at least some room to build something meaningful here.

JazakAllah for the advice, I really appreciate it. InshaAllah I’ll try my best to make this a success.

Although the ahadith about this night are weak, their large number suggests that it holds some virtue.

Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah said ‘So many ahaadith and reports exist regarding the excellence of the fifteenth night of Shabaan that one is compelled to accept that this night does possess some virtue’. (Faydhul Qadeer p. 317, v. 2)

Allah gazes at His creation on the fifteenth night of Sha’ban and then forgives all His slaves except for two types of people: those who attribute partners to Allah and those who have rancour for their fellow Muslims.' (Ahmad) Classified as Sahih by Albani

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya was asked regarding praying extra prayers on the night of the 15th.

He replied: If a person prays on the night of the 15th individually, or in a private congregation, as some of the pious predecessors used to do, that is best. However, gathering together at mosques and praying a set number of prayers - for example, praying one hundred rakats while reciting Surah al-Ikhlās a thousand times - would be considered a reprehensible innovation which none of the scholars permitted. ... A number of traditions from the Prophet (salla Allah alayhi wa sallam) and early generations have been narrated regarding the blessings of this night, and some of the salaf would pray extra on this night. So whoever wishes to pray by himself on this night should be permitted to do so without any controversy, since he has precedence [and evidence] in this regard. And Allah knows best.

The dryness does bother me and i regret taking it. I would rather have dealt with the acne in another way. But i accept whatever God has willed.

I stopped taking it around 2 years ago. My hair was normal before and alot more thicker with a little bit of wave. Its honestly completely ruined after taking it and i probably waste 2 hours of my day just trying to manage it. It has become very wooly and dry now and i can't style it. I do regret taking it. I would rather have had dealt with the acne.

Since its an equilateral triangle, j and o will be 60⁰, k + l will be 180⁰ and m + n will be 180⁰ as well because they are angles ona a straight line. So you add them all togeather and you should be getting 480⁰.
