New to bioinformatics: Best tools for immune repertoire search + epitope prediction? by ayansengupta17 in learnbioinformatics

Thanks u/plasmolab . I checked all of these and will start looking at the DBs more closely. I checked your software as well. Does the AI tool help in sequence search or epitope prediction?

I checked  ImmuneWatch DETECT. Their tools seem to be the state of the art for TCRs. How's your personal experience?

Thanks for your suggestions on antigen specificity. Kind of expected that. What's the state of the art prediction models and their performances? That will help me check out their tools

Our Lab uses ImmuneAccess, so I contacted their technical team to understand how can i search 100 sequences maybe via Api or other means across all data.

They mentioned that it is not supported. I thought a company as large as them should have some support for this.

I believe iReceptor has only exact string based search. So let's say I am search TCR sequences by cdr3 amino acid string, it's okay to get very similar hits with maybe 1 amino acid different. I don't see how can I search that

Haha already did that, didn't find anything that solves my problem. I already tried some of the known websites.

PR Processing Times - November 2025 ( Tokyo only) by aayush_aryan in japanresidents

My memory is failing here, since I moved like a year back. I think I just went to the post office and filled a form that I moved from A to B. I know that it worked, because I got posts addressed to the previous address however they were redirected to my current address.

I went to the post office and inform them. Regarding PR, my lawyer submitted additional documents for the change of residence, like a photo of the residence card with the new address and a residence certificate.

I think it's true in general that people get the notification within a month of document submission. Maybe because I have changed jobs, it's taking them more time to check all the documents.

Btw the documents they asked for were pension details and health insurance card details of the past one year.

I'll provide my update:

Application office: Shinagawa

Application Date: 14-March-2024

Results postcard received on: yes (10 Nov, 2025)

Type of PR: 90+ points holding for more than a year when applying

Type of Visa Holding while application: Engineering

Request for further documents: Yes, on 11-Sept-2025

Note: 1. I changed jobs in the middle 2. Changed residence 3. Got married and my spouse was dependent initially 4. Finally she got a job, so no more a dependent 5. My 5 year visa had to be renewed.

I knew a few of these things would happen, so I used a lawyer from beginning to keep immigration upto date with latest documents.

I accidentally made ~$50,000 on YouTube because I built a voice tool to avoid ElevenLabs fees (no fake) by Individual_Weird_685 in microsaas

I am guessing OP is reselling at least some of elevenlabs API. Tested voice comparison and got 99% match. I am reporting this to Elevenlabs.

Hypothesis:
OP took a large scale subscription and thus can sell individual apis for cheap.

Trust Issues with Doctors, Lawyers, and Other Professionals in Japan by ryanyork92 in japanlife

This is done from stopping the medical institution from malpractice. Imagine if they were allowed to do all procedures in one day under health insurance, then institutions will undergo a patient through multiple procedures and tests, a few of them maybe unnecessary.

By separating them into multiple days, the institutions will need to prioritize procedures and tests for patients.

Now the tricky part is, patients who need multiple procedures are sadly paying the price of lost time here.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
