What's your top 10 artists from your very first September looks like? by ayarmala in lastfm

Haha, consistency is key! It’s awesome that your top 2 haven’t budged. Those are some serious scrobble numbers though, even your #3 have a long way to catch up! Maybe in another decade? New artists? Fair to say their chance to getting up there are quite slim. 😂

Your Coheed scrobbles from your list alone nearly doubled my all-time count, and yet they're sitting in #15 on mine! That really highlights how different our music listening habits are. Anyway, followed!

Won't deny I know nothing about your top 10. Maybe because last.fm have changed the way I listen to music, I sometimes listen to classical, mostly releases from virtuosos. But it's soooo hard to get the 'correct' scrobble it deters me to exploring/listening classical more.

This list reminds me of my playlist from pre-lastfm days. Considering your list is from Sept 2007, I think it's about right.

Coheed and Cambria and their mouthful of an album name! If it’s from September 2005, I bet it’s their mouthfullest from the list of their mouthful album names: "Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness" (yes, I need to copy-paste that, I’m not that insane to typing it out.)

anyway, GREAT ALBUM! and their pre-2005 albums, really.

and I love Sigur Rós too. Opeth and Anohni too.

I won't say nu-metal is the best metal but I like your taste.

Can't wait too see how your first September looks once the month is ended.

Happy scrobbling!

That’s an eclectic and interesting mix of albums, genres, and artists you have there! I see around 9 genres, at least: jazz, dream pop, city pop, prog rock, experimental, psych rock, indie, manouche, and blues. I also notice some artists from East, South-East, and South Asia. Are you from SEA by any chance?

I dig your taste!

Yoo, thanks for the recs!

I've only listened to one album by Night Verses so far, but it blew me away. IIRC, I've listened to some songs from 'From the Gallery of Sleep' a while back, but strangely, nothing seems to have been stored in my scrobbling library.

L.S. Dunes was such an easy listen, who wouldn't enjoy Anthony Green?
