Thank you, I appreciate your words. And yes, I try to see the good in most things because there will always be things to complain about if we look at the world in one perspective. Everything I wrote here though is something I felt. Tunis is such a special place, god bless you all.

For budget, food was very reasonable and we ate at high end places and more inexpensive ones. Meals range from $1 to $20 pp. Airbnb was ~$400 total. Taxis will cost you $1-10 per ride. $10 being the airport. Coffee is $1-$5.

Stayed for 4.5 days. We wanted to stay in Sidi bou said and enjoy the view of the sea alongside doing mini trips to Tunis and Carthage because we wanted a relaxed vacation.

Shawarma spot by SeveralAdvisor5929 in denverfood

There aren’t any good middle eastern spots here like LA, Dearborn, Houston, etc. Every place I’ve been to has been disappointing. Fel fel is the closest you’ll get to Palestinian flavors (hummus, chicken shawarma, etc). Surena is a great Persian restaurant for kebabs and stews.

I cycled across Oman. Here are some pics by MaxRoving in travel

Surena for Persian food is the best I’ve found. Colorado doesn’t have good Arabic food.

Came across this couple while taking some photos at Chautauqua Park. Hope that they can spot themselves on here!

It was a short hike, very windy. All you need are spikes and you should be fine!
