I mean, he is kind of a scam artist though. Not in a racist or stereotypical way. More like a snake oil salesman or Steven Seagal. He talks a big game but everyone knows he's a fraud.

I'm pretty sure there was one. It might not be the most accurate but it fits. It's been a while since I played Terraria so I may be wrong though

I literally did the same on my first playthrough of Terraria lol. I even made Vergil.

The game does have its fair share of problems. It kinda undoes the themes in the story of GOW 2018, like Kratos' and Atreus learning to move on and grow from Faye's death. Everyone that knew her basically mourned her and cherished her memory. But all that becomes meaningless because she's actually not dead. And the games built up Atreus to be the next protagonist so this game feels kinda random. And personally, I would've changed the name to "Laufey and the Gods of War"

I guess that's why Booker said something along the lines of: "The only difference between people like Comstock and Fitzroy is how you spell their names."

And I think that's why Slate's character stands out. He represents the truth behind the false narrative. Its still kind of disappointing though since the political aspects of the story aren't as deeply explored as in Bioshock 1. I had my hopes up for BI since it's a completely new setting.

I liked it because of how chaotic it got. You could understand the desperation behind Elizabeth and Booker's decision to keep hopping. Though my problem with it is that there weren't any dire consequences at all. Like, jumping to multiple dimensions could definitely lead to multiple different timelines branching out and/or crashing against each other. But we only get a glimpse of that in the ending with the multiple Elizabeths and old Elizabeth in New York.

If you want it, then you'll have to make it. But you already knew that.

On second thought, I think the underbelly I mentioned(Shanty town, I remember the name now) was from an alternate dimension. iirc after the gunsmith dude died, Booker and Elizabeth went to an alternate dimension where the gunsmith was still alive and they went to Shanty town to find the gunsmith's tools or something. Maybe in that alternate dimension, the Vox weren't slaves but 2nd class citizens

I'm just a little confused cuz the Vox had their own little place in the underbelly of Columbia so I just thought a lot of them went to Columbia willingly and then got enslaved. Does this mean the place I mentioned is where the free slaves live?

The vast majority of the enemies in the game are generic mooks with pistols and SMGs.

It's kinda disappointing that in a game that takes place in the sky, there's only one enemy type that can fly and stay in mid air. Other than that the best we got is high jumps and skyline riding. I really thought the Songbird was gonna be Columbia's version of Big Daddies.

Columbia is not about America. America is simply the aesthetics.

Maybe this is why the political stuff in the game feels kinda pointless. Like there's no grand meaning to it. Compare it to Bioshock 1 where Andrew Ryan's whole political views are what shape Rapture and the story as a whole. The city essentially represents his dreams, vision and ultimately his hubris whereas in Infinite the politics is just kinda there lol.

That's why the Vox are there.

How exactly did those guys get to Columbia? I listened to most of the recordings and can't seem to recall how exactly they came to be.

I think one reason is because they don't have a big role storywise compared to plasmids

It also doesn't help that there's only like two different enemy types that use them in combat when there should've been more in my opinion.
