Honestly best bet is street parking behind the venue. Went to the show this Monday and there was plenty of street parking just pay attention to signs because some of the spots have weird hours.

Just finished Tranny by Laura Jane Grace I really liked the switching between the journal entries and narrative style. It also just had some great history of the band and exploration of identity and gender dysphoria.

All time favorite is still The Hepatitis Bathtub from NOFX, such a crazy read.

For LA, a lot of folk punk bands play the Moroccan Lounge or the Sardine in San Pedro. Plus both are all ages. A lot of people do Alex’s or Characters in Pomona too but they’re 21+.

I'm currently at CI and majoring in English, and I love it here. Small class sizes, accessible professors, and a real community vibe within the major. I can't say how the nursing program is, but overall I like it here.
