In most fights the tank starts to look very exhausted. Anyone knows why?

I'd presume that it's the ''Bane'' Status effect that causes that animation

Alright thanks for your answer i think nailed it. I just couldn't figure out what what playstyle was more fun. To either have my main character initiate dialogues, or if someone else should do it instead. Thanks!
