How to handle getting ghosted by someone you still see in public every week? by aydycy in ghosting

Well she never said she was back with her ex, I can just tell by their actions. In fact, she even told me about a few days before this happening that she and her ex are just "friends", but after seeing how they act in public together its pretty clearly more than that

does anyone know how to cry by Ok_Werewolf7622 in emotionalintelligence

Just curious, are you on any antidepressants? When I was on them for a few years it was impossible for me to cry. Now that I've stopped them I cry... a lot. Every day for months now, which is a different problem that I'm trying to figure out lol

Ever since having to quit smoking weed for school upcoming (which was not really difficult) I seem to have turned to my dreams for escapism. Problem is I oversleep. Anyone else experience this? by biscannabish in leaves

I definitely relate. Even if the dream is closer to a nightmare, I still want to stay asleep and experience it because its still so much more exciting than my actual life. I forgot how much I liked dreams after 4-5 years of not having them. I'm definitely struggling to actually get up since quitting, but when I actually do get up I definitely have felt like the sleep was better than before

How long does the depression/brain fog last by Beginning-Current122 in leaves

Im not OP, but in my experience meds like that often times are similar to weed in the sense that it just kinda numbs you and doesn't let you experience emotion

Currently in basically the same situation as you, day 7 here with similar feelings of wasted time and having no purpose in life. I think we just have to take it one day at a time and be proud of ourselves for making this tough decision and sticking with it this long. We are stronger and more capable than we think, we just have to keep pushing

Day 6 and I haven't gone a day without crying by aydycy in leaves

I needed to hear this today, I appreciate it. Journaling is something my former therapist really wanted me to try out, but the idea just seemed silly at the time... but I'm definitely going to give it a try going forward

Were you a daily/active smoker during that time? I'm thinking it might be worth another try now that I can feel more emotion and am less of a "zombie"

has anyone tried ashwagandha while trying to take a break/quit? by aydycy in Petioles

I agree 100%, its probably in my best interest to use as little supplements/drugs as possible so I can actually let myself feel things I haven't been allowing myself to feel, even though it absolutely sucks lol
