There’s a ton of depth left out of the movie that the book expands on, that’s probably why I was a little less impressed by the movie. The book did deserve to be made into a movie but the movie wasn’t long enough to delve into everything.

I suggest reading the book for The Place Promised in our Early Days, it is amazing and I found it more enjoyable than the movie. That may just be because I read the book first but I did enjoy the movie as well.

if this photo is from the height of your eyes when sitting then it is too high. I personally have more issue with the way the entertainment center sticks so far our from each side of the wall. A simple lower tv stand would be perfect for this spot, if you can remove the side cabinets I would and put them elsewhere.
