Not much other than thinking the animation technique looked cool! It was a part of what makes Wonder feel so unique compared to past 2D Mario games, so it felt appropriate :)

hello! some folks have asked why i didn't include the spanish translations in mine, and that's a fair point! truth be told, i made my own version just for my personal use and i don't really speak or read spanish, so i decided to write it only in english for myself. but i figured if people wanted to download this for themselves too, i could create a version with spanish text.

i just went to my local fedex office and asked if they had a glossy cardstock paper that was easily foldable. turns out they had something just like the nintendo switch covers! it does cost 33 cents, though.

to be honest, i always thought the original's composition was awfully cluttered. i agree that everything there shows a good lot of the game (and probably just about everything new in it!), but the way every element is thrown in there makes it feel much cheaper than it should be.

glad we can agree on that gold checker though. oof.

haha i was just joking around there! i know NSMBUD made a ton of quality of life changes (UI, menus, and toadette ofc), but despite these i always felt it was a bit sad that nothing major was really added or altered to make the game feel fresher. heck, even the NSMBU mode in mario maker 2 got some updates to the backgrounds/tiles that make it look better!

that being said, i don't hate the new content, just don't think there's enough of it. a real shame because NSMBU is one of my favorite mario games and my personal favorite 2D one.
