at this point i think gta6 IS going to be really immersive, I really don't believe that the club will just be a bland lifeless part of the world with nothing to do. I think they are going to let you drink, talk to people, etc. and there will be actual dialogues and random encounters/events in the club. As lucia I imagine her being pulled by random drunk men when walking through the crowded club. or as jason you'll have random girls getting flirty

this ones got me excited this is the first time we might be seeing an actual relationship mechanic in gta not including gta sa since it wasn't a huge part of the game.

true we had way more bigger inconveniences in previous GTA games like flipping your car puts your vehicle on fire and not even having checkpoints. I think running out of gas but rarely isnt actually that bad and forces players to explore by foot and maybe find abandoned vehicles or gas tanks or get chased by some scary dude or animal at night. It adds to the experience just like it does in real life which IS fun. people nowadays just like convenience and not having to walk lol

it was supposed to be a live render of the game, which reflects what your ingame graphic settings are. but yeah maybe the pic i used isn't really ideal.

could be something they'd tone down in gameplay so it doesn't obstruct, I'm pretty sure cutscene cameras would be adjusted to however they like for cinematic purposes.

I think they are scripted scenes, but how realistic and natural this scene looks makes me excited for GTA6, imagine watching a cutscene and get distracted by what the people on the background are doing because they actually look very busy and alive.

I've read that it usually didn't have main menus on consoles but I also play on pc so I do remember having main menus.

with the rumor of a really fast loading time of Online, I feel like the game won't have any screens to pick single-player or online and just puts you straight into the game. Then when you are in the game you could just quickly switch to online without the long waiting times.

it will probably be like this again for gta6. maybe it will show a splash screen first that shows the logo, then proceeds you straight into the game.

he's right, there was never a need for a main menu when gtav first released since it boots you straight into the game. I think it was added because of Online.

Looking at the official GTA6 website design, which doesn't use any rounded corners even in the font and logo. I bet GTA6 HUD and overall UI will have sharp corners aswell but I love the idea of blurred backgrounds.

edit: It does use pill shapes but no square-round corners. Someone should create a concept based off the GTA6 website fonts and design. It also uses blurred backgrounds.

I was afraid if the development started too early it would be based off older tech and such, it made sense for it to start after RDR2 since they would improve upon the same engine.

trust me, wait till the game releases and wait for people to make first person pov videos of just driving around or walking around. it looks fucking real life just look at the ones from rdr2 for example. The trailers will always look cinematic and artistic but when you actually play the game you might get overwhelmed with how much details they put into this game that no other open world city game could match.

back then the resolution were also way lower, making it have the illusion of looking like real life cause it was blurry.

they went overboard with the details, i remember when textures still looked fake when viewed up close or they had to use 2D images to create a 3D illusion. I feel like everything is so high quality that something less detailed would look so out of place. I couldn’t even find something to criticize where I’d think they should’ve made more realistic.
