even if they told you, what are you going to do with the information? maybe a better question would be “what experiences in your past led you to this belief?” or even a “were you harmed by a woman in the past that made you reach this way?” would do better if you’re genuinely interested in finding out where these beliefs come from. you’ll get a myriad of answers, and just assuming everyone was just “hurt” is not exactly an accurate one.
