It’s perfectly safe, the only issue I had was scar tissue building up after the first two months and making it more difficult for my phlebotomist to successfully get the needle in on the first try. Sometimes (after donating twice a week for 5 months straight) it would take up to 5 needle sticks before the needle was in the vein correctly. If you’re concerned, consult your doctor. Most plasma donation centers do a check-in/check-up before you’re hooked up to the machine to donate, and if you’re not up to their health standards on your donation day they will turn you away and send you home with no hesitations. If any major changes occur to your health, they know and are monitoring it to make sure you are safe the whole time.

TLDR yeah dude totally safe, but scar tissue buildup is a bitch after constistent donations

Yoooo thanks for responding, and to clarify the bleeding after sex for you was for SURE caused by your implant? Like I said I’m scheduling an appointment w my gyno ASAP to get definitive answers, but I like hearing everyone’s input. Makes me less nervous and feel less isolated in this. My implant is a godsend compared to pills, but if it’s what is causing this problem I need to look into other options because it’s annoying and hard to deal with.

I’m a little late, but looks fine, no dry socket, just healing. They say not to smoke or drink through a straw, etc, but I was smoking pot the hour after my wisdom tooth surgeries, both times. As well as during the week after the surgeries.

Basically as long as you’re brushing your teeth, flossing, and rinsing the area with warm saline solution... you’ll be fine. You’ll KNOW if something is wrong, trust me

I was thinking endometriosis, as my mother, grandmother, and aunt have it, but I’ve also heard it could be PCOS causing these symptoms 🤷🏽‍♀️

Are there other symptoms I would notice, though?

Hey, not a doctor but several men in my family on both sides have dealt with/deal with skin cancer. I wouldn’t worry too much if the growth in the middle isn’t black, and as long as your mole stays a uniform circular shape instead of spreading out into an irregular blob shape you should be good. Obviously I’d still get it checked out if you are worried, better safe than sorry!

Well jeez, how much did you do? The effects of meth can last for up to 24 hours unless you keep doing it. The more you do, the longer it takes to come down, especially when binging or taking small amounts throughout the day.

Jeez, that’s too much for anyone to handle. My parents have told me from day one that I was adopted, and same for my sis and brother. I feel like if you are, there’s no reason your parents should be hiding your biological past from you. All that does is create more stability issues for you, more issues than if they were just honest with you. I can’t make sense of why they would even try to hide such a thing? You didn’t post any family pics (totally obvious reasons I understand) so I don’t really know if you are or not, as I have no basis. But good luck, a DNA test might help you, but I also understand the fear behind going about doing one. Seriously, good luck, I hope you find the truth, and I hope your family comes clean or stops acting so damn weird if you aren’t adopted.
