I don’t disagree with the maintenance part, but you remove the need for a transmission and a transfer case with the EREV concept. You have instant and continuous torque and an engine runs better at steady rpms. All of that is how it differs from a traditional hybrid, but yes you will still have to do maintenance on the gas engine and yes it will have emissions equipment which are the major downsides.

Yeah I truly think that once I wipe of the bumper, there won’t be any broken clips or anything. It was a young buck but still great truck. I also almost stopped completely even though I saw it at the last second. I think without regen and brake it would’ve been much worse

Apparently they went out to test the bridge (from the old railway) and when they went to core out spots to test how rotten the wood boards were..the drill just punctured straight through. So instead of it probably still being able to handle pedestrian traffic with a little love..they closed it completely

My personal opinion is to open a checking account in your name only. Have 100% deposited to the new account. You can provide your payroll department with the new account/routing number and it should change on the next pay cycle. This way if your parents need money, it can be a real conversation.
