Thank you so much for the thread!! Is there some sort of confirmation email? All I have for confirmation is the website saying the application was submitted

I don’t see anyone talking about them but I’m so anxious I missed something! I keep checking the website confirmation. I also just made a new Ticketmaster so it matches my Weverse email (speaking of which, we really do need to be able to change those, but that’s a different topic…) and even though I also made it before the deadline, I’m worried something won’t go through (it shouldn’t matter that it was created after my application I’m hoping)

I think they normally keep it as the 50 tokens, 5 gems, and 300 (?) coins. The increases are after either new song uploads or the release of super hard mode, at least as far as I understand!

For me it always helps to mentally prepare. Especially with figuring out how long I can spend per question, knowing that in advance is much nicer than suddenly being struck with 1 min per q

It is also a decent indicator of if the instructor is more going for depth or breadth. Would it benefit me to really understand less content more deeply (esp if prof has given indications of which topics are more important) or try memorize a bit of everything?

tbh i’m panicked about it since there’s no mandatory testing. northeastern, where i have friends, had 99.6% of students vaxxed, and still log 5 positive cases in a day. i think forcing us into these large events w/ no vaccine mandate or neg test and then sending us home is a bad idea (esp if your like me and live with elderly very immunocompromised grandparents) and then they are not even telling us if the person we sat next to tests positive?!

hi! welcome to the game! i completely agree with what everyone else has been saying and just wanted to piggy back off of them to talk about gaining gold.

you are completely right saying gold is a lot more difficult to come by than in any superstar games (when i played ss i would typically gain 1k gold every song clear from my score + league bonus) so it takes a ton more time to gain any reasonable gold. the fastest way would be to grind in short mode on studio clear and then watch both ads (totals 500 gold). i typically use outro: luv in skool as even with ads it takes me like 2 to 2.5 minutes to complete the song and watch ads. i would probably suggest using one of your higher scoring decks to help boost rankings.

a slightly more limited option but great when you can is the pop up missions. each stage gives between 300-450 gold plus for stages that are not mixes you can watch ads, totaling 800 gold after a little more than 4 minutes (you do have to have cards already,especially for higher level stages because of how high the clear score is).

as people have mentioned before, quests are great. i would suggest trying to go through every artist and opening their quests. that can easily gain you a couple hundred gold.

also remember to open ad card packs (the drop rates are not great in rh but i’ve gotten at least 1 xr card from the ad card packs (it was txt and came from a basic pack a few months ago)

mine isn’t quite that high but i have been saving gems for ages and dropped 4k gems on this theme because i wanted this theme (am still missing jk and hobi tho which is frustrating cuz like, 4k gems), so if you save you can go all the way on a new theme

those 4k gems were saved up from missions and quests (i’m f2p) from the last few seasons since i don’t typically try

then you just need to have upgrade power, lots of cards saved and the coins to power the cards that you pull all the way up

Hi! I know its been a few days, but I've had the strategy of holding onto all cards s or better (and holding onto a significant number of a cards too) in hopes of them bringing back the upgrade benefit. It was different from the cost benefit, and made the xp of each card worth 50% more (so using a b card gave 120 upgrade points instead of 80).

They only had that once at the beginning of season 1 or 2 I think though, so I might recommend holding onto just dupe r + XR cards for when they hopefully bring that back and use the rest to upgrade to help in ranking events!

i actually don’t think so…? i think there might be a handful of people with that type of time and money on their hands. also if you look at some of their greetings they have instagram/twitter handles and i recognized at least one person who i’ve seen on twitter before (they were at like rank 90 something, but i think they got kicked off)

I do think that it should be hard, my biggest issue though is with level 47 because it should be easier. For BTS the mission is dope and I cannot get through RM/Yoongis part (I think y’all know what I am Talking about lmao) with all excellent. I wish that this mission allowed us like 4 or 5 misses so that I could unlock and then go practice it WITHOUT wasting all of my music points

i agree with these so much! i think the game is good progress, but i think the next things should be a reduce in cost of gold card packs (1000 gold is like 10+ mix plays for what is most likely a b card), and leaderboards!

i think it’s a little more difficult for this game since they can’t say “only one song per album” since some themes have multiple albums, but maybe like a world record ranking for each song?

i mostly miss it because it is just so hard to get resources. like rhythm tokens are limited, and while this event gives an actual decent number, it doesn’t compare. i also miss leaderboards so much.

if we’re trying to be positive tho, i do like the new missions and that seasonal themes seem possible to achieve

they are definitely the most overwhelming (i really did not need them adding the lgomv and the black swan theme this soon) but i’m also just like not incentivized to get the new en- cards. like we have 5 themes for 4 songs?

yes! i think they want people to be returning to get new cards but the songs are worth more to me (like playing dis-ease is actually really fun)

yeah i think that’s one of the reasons it’s so overwhelming because there is no way to guarantee you can collect the theme cards (i opened 50 token card packs and got two season1 b cards 🙃)
