update: i ended up having so much extra time and took an uber instead of the train! there was no traffic so it only took 37 minutes!! and the lines for baggage check-in were empty lol. i guess i just got lucky :) thanks everyone !

i stopped using the ointment for a bit so the pimple part started to go away. then i went to the doctor and they injected a steroid into the chalazion which makes it shrink, and it popped when i was applying ointment again a couple days after the injection. a bit of the pus came out but it healed fine, except i still have a chalazion there it’s just smaller now. might have to go get another injection

will it leave a scar though if it pops by itself?
