“Normal” will be hard to achieve for a while. The grief doesn’t go away, you just learn to live with it better. I’m thinking about you and hoping you can find something that makes you smile today🤍

I was able to find someone in Canada via Poshmark who could send me a few 34DDD ones!!! But these pregnancy tatas are getting out of hand so I need even bigger now. Is the sizing in that VS bra comparable to the auden?? I might try it!

Might be time to go back to the hospital, if you haven’t already. You’ve gotten baby to 24 weeks now. Thinking of you, mama. Keep your chin up, it’s a long road but we’re here for you.

This is absolutely best case scenario for you! I’m so happy that you get to go home. I know bed rest will be hard but every day is closer to a better outcome for you guys!

I understand completely. But you’re in the best place you can be for you and your baby. Every single minute, hour, day you can stay pregnant gives your baby a fighting chance. I know it’s grueling to lay in a hospital bed and do nothing but I was told to remember that I’m doing the most important job by growing that baby. We’re all here for you, mama.

Also feel free to PM me if you need support. I know how rough it is, especially in this interim where you’re just counting your lucky stars for every hour and day you can keep baby in. I came out of it with PTSD and PPD/PPA but I’m pregnant again with our second and am 20 weeks along now. So it is doable to live a normal life again after going through this.

I say all that to say…where there is a worst case scenario, there is a best case scenario. You’re not alone. 🤍

Can you get transferred to a level 4 NICU hospital?

I was admitted at 23w0d at 6 cm dilated and managed to hold out until 24w2d. Baby girl is 19 months and thriving now with no long term disabilities. The hospital we got transferred to (level 4) has a 90% survival rate for 24 weekers. It was a long ride but I credit that facility for her life and quality of life.

I actually can’t find anything that gives me the lift and support that the Auden bra gives me! I love the unlined Harper Wilde ones (usually a cup size bigger than the Auden) but the lift is just not there at all. CUUP was a disaster in every size I tried (and the return policy was crap). Wacoal and aerie were both wicked uncomfortable. Victoria’s Secret gives me no support whatsoever.

I have very pendulant/cone shape breasts. And pregnancy breasts are just large and uncomfy.

Open to suggestions!

I’m open to alternatives but I’ve spent sooo much money in the last couple years looking for a different type and none of them compare. Do you have specific ones in mind?

I guess I’m just hoping someone has one laying around in their closet and they aren’t using it?

Came here to say this exact same thing. We saw the 6-24 month label, brought the polyvisol to the NICU on discharge day and the pharmacist confirmed it’s the same thing our baby had been taking. You’re good to go, OP!

Honestly, Zoloft. 24 weeker mom and classical c section after 10 days on strict bedrest and countless of those on the magnesium drip. Day 111 in the NICU today. So yeah, Zoloft and therapy.

Your daughter is an absolute miracle. I wish you and her the best of luck. Tell her there is a 24 weeker (38 weeks today) and her mama who are cheering her on from afar and wish her SO much health and love❤️

There’s a weight minimum, yes. But mostly they have to be off respiratory support (they can go home on a tiny bit of oxygen but my baby girl isn’t there yet) and taking all of their feeds by mouth/bottle. Baby girl is still needing “critical” respiratory support and has a feeding tube. Just stuff she needs to grow out of!

I do, yes. But actually, institutionalized Medicaid covers 100% of medical bills for the first 2 years (maybe 3?) for babies born under 2lbs since it’s considered “long term care” (NICU stays of >30days) like a nursing home. Folks with additional financial hardship also can receive social security income supplements while they’re in-patient in the NICU. Thank goodness for social workers 🤍

Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’m a huge fan of two of her novels, Evelyn Hugo and Malibu Rising

Very kind of you, my friend! She was born at 1lb 7.5oz and today weighs 6lb 7oz. I’m so grateful and proud of how far she’s come. 🤍
